I find it difficult to post about travel during these times, when there is so much suffering and pain.💔

But then I remember how important travel is to really open our eyes to the world around us and understand each other just a little better. To understand that our way of living is not the only way, to learn from others and see that we all essentially want the same things.

In every country I’ve travelled to, I’ve experienced kindness, generosity and friendship. I’m not saying that there is no bad in the world, but there is usually more good. I’ve met people that have less than me materialistically, open their homes and give more to me than I could ever give back to them.

Travel changes lives both abroad and back home. It creates understanding. It creates compassion. It is important.

I’ll continue to post and encourage travel with the goal that each and every one of us will take the time to listen, learn and give back to those that you meet along the way. ❤️
