Check this adorable bakery out on your next visit to Fenelon Falls. John Catucci, host of Big Food Bucket List, did just that!!

John Catucci from You Gotta Eat Here was in The Little Pie Shack getting pies and tarts this morning Michelle Stetson. Maybe he will come and do a show in the future. Let’s hope.

Enjoy the sights and sounds of nature from the calls of the loon, the eagle soaring overhead or the blue heron gliding over the water in front of you. In the fall and winter seasons, the swans are plentiful and majestic!
On Balsam Lake, the fishing is great for Walleye, Muskellunge, large and small mouth Bass.
Rosedale, a Trent Severn Waterway Trail Town and the Gateway to Balsam Lake is located at the highest elevation of the Trent-Severn Waterway on the east shore of Balsam Lake
Located just moments from the Trent-Severn Waterway, Lock 35 Rosedale. Conveniently nestled across the way from the Pride of Balsam Lake Marina, Rosedale Marina, and the public Rosedale boat launch. The two marinas on the canal offer gas, pump outs, boating supplies, and ice cream. Rosedale Marina is a full-service marina that offers some transient slips, and rental boats as well. This is the last gas westbound for 40km (Bolsover) and 12 km eastbound (Fenelon River)
Lock 35, Rosedale is just east of the hamlet. Adjacent to the lock is the Dewey’s Island Nature Reserve with a small trail system. A walking trail to the Hamlet of Rosedale is easily accessed by either side of the lock.

Enjoy this spacious and family-friendly 3-bedroom lake house cottage located on Balsam Lake. Fully renovated, modernly styled in pine tongue and grove, and sleeps 8. All on the main level, 2 baths, dishwasher, washer/dryer, tv, and wifi. In our fully finished kitchen, you will find all the luxuries of home: A Keurig coffee machine with a dozen complimentary cups, toaster, crockpot, microwave, air fryer frying pan, pots/pans, fridge, stove, blender, and all dishes. Provided with the rental are dish soap, dishwasher pods, reusable dish clothes, washer pods, bounce sheets, complimentary shampoo, conditioner, and bars of soap. Bedsheets and blankets are also provided. Items you should pack would include your pillows, towels (hand towels, dish towels, and bath towels)

The living area overlooks the outdoor patio and spectacular view of the canal.
The master bedroom includes a king-sized Captain’s storage bed. The second bedroom includes a double-sized Captain’s storage bed. The third bedroom includes a set of queen-sized bunk beds. All beds are fitted with an award-winning Endy Hybrid mattress and finished with a wall-mounted fan above each bed for airflow and comfort.
The wall of floor-to-ceiling cupboards in the back hall provides your dresser space.
Outside, enjoy our deck overlooking the beautiful canal and create memories around the firepit. Always check the area for the updated fire ban. This is usually posted at the Lock as well.
Our cottage is equipped with 8 kayaks and 1 paddleboard, so no one is left behind when you go out on the water. We offer the use of life jackets, sizes may vary.
Step access into the water right out front of the cottage. A personal boat dock is down the road with water access to the entire Trent-Severn waterway.
From the incredible kitchen to coffee on the deck or at the water’s edge, come to relax and enjoy our little piece of paradise.
