It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of Lisa after an almost two year battle with cancer.
A compassionate person who put others before herself. She lived a large life and travelled the world wearing cycling shoes or hiking boots in order to see the hidden gems and how the locals lived. She was a natural leader that emphasized people’s strengths and helped them with their weaknesses. She would always say “Yeah, let’s do it” and then figured out how. She was fearless whether chasing down pickpockets in Ethiopia, facing gorillas in Uganda or the many other situations she found herself in. Always willing to meet a new friend with a quick “Come over for a coffee.” Always willing to help her friends who depended on her vast knowledge of just about everything.
We were all very lucky to have her in our lives.
