The most well-known landmark in Toronto is the CN Tower but there are a few hidden gems we want to show you! So for this Wednesday’s excursion let’s take a look at some of them!

First on our list is the Gooderham Building, this five-story flatiron office building was constructed in 1892 and is shaped like, you guessed it a flatiron! Fun fact the Gooderham is older than the iconic Flatiron building in New York City!

Our next stop on this tour is right across the street at Berczy Park, known best for its dog fountain! This water fountain features 27 dogs all looking up at a mouthwatering bone on top of the fountain. If you pay close attention to might spot a cat trying to avoid detection.

This excursion is for our thrill seekers! Today we are off to Canada’s Wonderland. It’s the largest amusement park in Canada with over 200 attractions their newest attraction, the Yukon Striker holds multiple world records! Are you ready for it? The Eras Tour finally kicks off in Canada tonight at our Rogers Centre. Taylor’s music means so much to millions of fans across the globe, but what resonates with us are the songs about friendship. At MWS, we have the unique opportunity to form life-long friendships with campers from all over the world as we celebrate, learn and play at camp. So thanks to Taylor for capturing those feelings in song and to you for being a great friend to us. So be sure to make many friendship bracelets and get ready to sing your lungs out.

Yesterday was the final game of the 2023-2024 season for our Toronto Blue Jays! We raised the roof for every home run, win, and jumbotron appearance. It will be great to see them again next year! Do you have a favourite Jays memory? Let us know in the comments below!

And just like that, we have wrapped up our Summer 2024 Programmes! It didn’t feel right to bid you farewell without one last camp Olympics, a trip to Niagara Falls and a ball game. Whether you were with us for one week or seven weeks, we hope you walked away with experiences and learning you’ll cherish. Over the past seven weeks, our staff have worked hard and diligently to make this summer a blast, so be sure to show them your appreciation.

While the Olympics took place in Paris, we held our camp Olympics! Campers competed in exciting exhibitions featuring soccer, handball, sponge relays, and three-legged racing. Smiles were abundant and good times were had by all. Congratulations to the winners, and thanks to our campers for their sportsmanship and enthusiasm.
