It’s time for a Wednesday excursion! Every Wednesday, students set off to a new destination. Among these destinations is Niagara Falls, one of the most iconic sights in the world. Are you ready for it? The Eras Tour finally kicks off in Canada tonight at our Rogers Centre. Taylor’s music means so much to millions of fans across the globe, but what resonates with us are the songs about friendship. At MWS, we have the unique opportunity to form life-long friendships with campers from all over the world as we celebrate, learn and play at camp. So thanks to Taylor for capturing those feelings in song and to you for being a great friend to us. So be sure to make many friendship bracelets and get ready to sing your lungs out.

Yesterday was the final game of the 2023-2024 season for our Toronto Blue Jays! We raised the roof for every home run, win, and jumbotron appearance. It will be great to see them again next year! Do you have a favourite Jays memory? Let us know in the comments below!

Students dress up, walk the red carpet and present homemade camp films! Excitement and laughter fill the room as campers watch their friends’ creations. And just like that, we have wrapped up our Summer 2024 Programmes! It didn’t feel right to bid you farewell without one last camp Olympics, a trip to Niagara Falls and a ball game. Whether you were with us for one week or seven weeks, we hope you walked away with experiences and learning you’ll cherish. Over the past seven weeks, our staff have worked hard and diligently to make this summer a blast, so be sure to show them your appreciation.

While the Olympics took place in Paris, we held our camp Olympics! Campers competed in exciting exhibitions featuring soccer, handball, sponge relays, and three-legged racing. Smiles were abundant and good times were had by all. Congratulations to the winners, and thanks to our campers for their sportsmanship and enthusiasm.

Hey, campers and families alike! We’ve made minor changes for the last two weeks of our summer programmes to accommodate scheduling and weather. Be sure to review the revised schedule and have lots of fun these next two weeks!

We are at our halfway point for our 2024 Summer Programmes! This week, we held our annual camp Olympics, explored the Saint Lawrence Market, and hopped on the ferry to the Toronto Islands. See you next week!
