WITNESS THE FRENZY of Southeast Alaska humpback whales as they engage in bubble net feeding- a behaviour found nowhere else on earth! How fascinating to watch working groups of whales cooperate to catch their prey- each with a role to play as bubble blowers, vocalizers, and those that coral the fish.

I HATE the cold, but it was awe-inspiring moments travelling to Greenland with National Geographic-Lindblad Expeditions that has forever drawn me to the beauty of ice.

Icebergs with unique contours and hues of brilliant white, pale blue and turquoise rise from the sea. These silent giants carved by time and nature are so pure, it renders you speechless. Kayaking Up Close among these natural wonders was something I will never forget....along with being on the bridge as the Captain navigated through a labyrinth of icebergs in our path.
