Ontario Culinary Your field guide to the best food + drink in Ontario. Curated by the Culinary Tourism Alliance.

By bridging the gap between the food and travel industries, we are strengthening viticulture, agriculture and aquaculture to promote the growth of culinary tourism. Our work lies in developing strong relationships between growers, chefs, processors, restaurateurs, accommodation providers, distributors, government and industry organizations. But above all, we act as the leading voice to share Ontar

io’s culinary stories with passion and pride. The Culinary Tourism Alliance is leading efforts in research, education and product development to promote the growth of the industry. Our ambition is to contribute to Ontario’s goal of doubling tourism revenue by 2020. With this philosophy, we aim to move Ontario into the forefront of the culinary tourism industry.

Looking for a delightful excursion to add to your trip to Peterborough & the Kawarthas Tourism? Check out this new exhibition from !

We are excited to present a special exhibit, "Fall: The Season of Preparation", exploring the significance of autumn for both the Indigenous and early settlers. This season of preparation, reflection, and survival was vital as communities readied themselves for the harsh winter ahead.

This fascinating exhibit showcases artifacts from the PMA’s collection used for harvesting, hunting, and warmth, giving visitors a unique insight into how the Peterborough area's early inhabitants survived and thrived in the winter months.

Admission: By donation.

Don’t miss this opportunity to journey through the past and learn how autumn was the season of preparation for survival.

The exhibit opens Saturday September 21, 2024 from noon to 5 p.m. and runs till Sunday December 8, 2024.
