Kensington Market is one of our key destinations on our Toronto walking tours and it’s a neighbourhood with a diverse population and sometimes conflicting views. Here a local Montessori School director has created a non-profit organization and secured a permit to use what’s essentially the front yard of a church to build a pollinator garden (in late October?) that currently hosts a homeless encampment that is supported by the church. This eviction is simply cruel and unnecessary.

A Thirsty Man in Lisbon

As part of the Urban Adventures family, Jason from Toronto Urban Adventures went to Lisbon in February for the international Urban Adventures conference and one of the workshops involved making a short, fun video about local knowledge. Here is the result. Big thanks to Hugo Horvath for editing it together and the other Urban Adventures partners Eric, Linda and Tomaz for making it so much fun to do.
