After the success of this year's New Toronto Holiday Market, we're excited to announce a Spring Arts Market at the Lakeshore Grounds Interpretive Centre, 2 Colonel Samuel Smith Park, on Saturday, March 29, 2025!

For the first time ever, we are excited to announce that the New Toronto Holiday Market will have a Book Nook!

Join us on Saturday, November 30 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. to shop from three local authors and illustrators — find your next read, or grab a present for the bookworm in your life!

Scott Colby’s “That’s What You Think: A Practical Guide on How to Write Competing Op-Eds and Short Memoirs” explains the importance of op-eds, how to express opinions effectively, how the process works at news organizations and how not to alienate the editors you want to impress.

Jesse Rogerson and John E. Moore’s “Daydreaming in the Solar System: Surfing Saturn’s Rings, Golfing on the Moon, and Other Adventures in Space Exploration,” illustrated by Michelle Parsons, allows the reader to imagine themselves as an astronaut using a combination of storytelling and science.

Last but not least, Michelle Rogers’ “Words With Michelle: Inspirational Conversations With Today’s Black Canadian Changemakers” shares conversations with guests featured on her blog and podcast who helped her pursue her career goals, educating readers on the work of current Black Canadian Changemakers who are making Black history now, as well as guide and help readers pursue their goals.

We are only five days away from the fifth annual New Toronto Holiday Market!

The fifth annual New Toronto Holiday Market will return on Saturday, November 30th at the Humber Polytechnic Student Welcome and Resource Centre at 2 Colonel Samuel Smith Park Drive. Join us to shop handcrafted goods from local vendors and more!

This year, we are excited to share that 100% of vendor table fees will be donated to Haven on the Queensway.

Free kids and teens crafts table will be hosted by the Youth Programs from LAMP Community Health Centre.

McLeod Makes is a Haudenosaunee and Anishinaabe woman-owned business, selling beadwork handmade with love by Kaitlynn McLeod.

Atelier Minoo has been a staple of the NTHM in previous years, selling handcrafted polymer clay earrings!

Sweet Baboo Handmade is another local-based business selling handmade jewellery - and every year is a crowd pleaser!

Meet our vendors!

These three local artists are just a few of the vendors you can visit at the New Toronto Holiday Market, taking place on Saturday, November 30.

Sarah Lefresne is a renowned local artist, selling Jesmonite home decor, suncatchers, and photography.

Lovely Dearly is a charming boutique dedicated to handcrafted fabric creations, and will be selling handmade scrunchies, pet clothing, and coasters!

- Lakeshore Environmental Gardening Society will be selling organic herbal teas and herbs harvested from their gardens at the Daily Bread Food Bank! A portion of proceeds from LEGS's sales will go to benefit Daily Bread.
