It must be spring...St. Francis, the Humpback, the turtle, my flowers...and the sunshine have all come out of hibernation!

The Fork Restaurant, the Captain's Table, and the Irish Loop Coffee House are all open!

May weather has thus far been gorgeous.

It is August 11th and the quiet ocean that is my back yard looks decidedly empty - for about 10 seconds...then the whoosh of the humpbacks right off the deck tells me they have not left the waters yet! Yesterday, we went whale watching with Capt Wayne in Bay Bulls - find him on Facebook - amazing tour company - and this video is one of many that rendered my camera dead long before the whale watching tour ended.

There were so many once-in-a-lifetime-views to be had on our trip out with Captain Wayne -- this just a couple of days ago. If you are "on the Rock", then go out there - - get "on the water". We really enjoyed that voyage.
