Got my sod down on Friday. Had to get 'er down before the rain. Geez, and rain it did!
Hopefully I'll be out this afternoon and take more pictures. It sure is looking great! Now to find some time to enjoy it.

Oh my! I just ordered one more pallet of sod. I don't like the bare spots. Good thing I like he colour green. I've also picked up a lot of perennials to plant. Hopefully get them in this weekend.
Rain, please hold off!

Decided to put one more pallet of sod down. Sure glad I did.

Almost done with the landscaping.
Laid two more pallets of sod today around the trailer to the left. Thank you for the help, Owen. One more to go! I did not take a pic of the finished finished project. I will do that tomorrow.

Just moved my last trailer in place. Hopefully the land scaping will be done by next week.
I also have my well dug. I have about 4.5 feet of water. So happy. My sods needed that. The recent rains have really been a blessing.
Watch for more pictures when I get the sod done.

Gotta love these nice, warm, sunny days.
I have another trailer set in place and ready to set up. Needs some work, but at least it is out there. Hopefully my Wildcat 5th wheel will be out there today
Two more pallets of sod going down today. That is, if my leg holds out.

It had been a productive week. I have the area around one trailer landscaped. Real pretty area!

04/11/2024

My leg is on the mend. Getting along pretty good with a cane. And without in the house. Hopefully, in another week, I will be back to work on the campground.

Experience life on the Bay of Fundy. I have 3 travel trailers setup on a lot within ½ km from the beach.
Rental is available Friday afternoon thru to Sunday afternoon. Longer periods can be discussed.
I have a roomy 5th wheel with 3 slides and a large kichen. Suitable for up to 4 persons.
I have two that are bunkhouses. They are suitable to sleep 6 comfortably.
This is a very quiet area surrounded by trees. You are mostly out of the wind that comes up during the changing tides.
Everything is supplied that you may need for a weekend, or a week, is in the trailer. You will only need to bring your clothing, personals and food.
Large BBQ available. A large 'community fire pit and wood for your evening fires. Picnic tables camping chairs, outside stove will be available for each trailer.
This is a new set-up and an on-going project. This my retirement project. Lol

I think it will be comfy

More pictures coming on the weekend.

My shed is coming along. I've now got it wired for the generator. Also wired for 12 volt battery. I just need the jumper cable from my genny 'panel' to my outlets. And the outside outlets installed.
Next is to panel the ceiling. Then the flooring. Hopefully I will have that finished before the big 'O'.
I'm also hoping to have two trailers moved in this weekend. Ohhhh, I wish I could get the grass growing too. Lol
Then to dig the well. I will get Chris in to dig that with the mini backhoe.

My shed/club house/ man cave is beginning to take shape and getting warmer.
Back wall will be paneled today and the counter will be put in place. Also the ceiling will be covered with plastic.
All insulated, but the front doors, my little heater was able to keep me warm. I could almost feel the difference as I was putting each piece of insulation in place.

Woo hoooo! An early spring! Thank you Shubenacadie Sam.

02/02/2024

The lot at 204 Five Houses Road is slowly coming around. The shed is built and I have the bunkhouse trailer in position. Two more to go!
I'm sure looking forward to spring so I can get the lot leveled with some soil and get the grass growing. And get the other two trailers out there.
Anyone interested in renting a trailer for a weekend? They are within staggering distance to the beach. Nestled into the trees, they are somewhat protected from wind at tide changes.
I hope to have a central fire pit where people can sit around and enjoy themselves. I will have solar lighting installed on trailers and some in the trees as well.
Next year, I hope to have decks on the trailers. All trailers will be fully equipped. Bring your food, personal stuff and clothing. Maybe something to drink while around the fire. I will also have a few garden chairs to save you having to pack them.
Let me know what you think. And, I hope to see you out there.
Enjoy the rest of winter. Now to see what the ground hog says is in store for us.

Here are a few pics of the Outback I'm putting in Portapique.
