Thank you Angela for the beautiful review! "We had a wonderful stay at the Retreat on Ridgewood - it was clean, comfortable and inviting. The cottage is located in a great spot for a morning or evening stroll with easy access to the beach. The weather during the week of our stay was not as great as we would have hoped, but having a comfortable place to spend time together certainly helped - we found something to do each day.

You can tell the hosts were thoughtful in making the Retreat easy to use (many small kitchen appliances, cutlery, dishes, cleaning supplies, etc.) and were very easy to get in touch with from the moment I inquired about booking. Would certainly recommend to others and would be happy to stay here again in the future."

I'm looking to find a who'd like to do some bartering....We have a cottage in (1.5 hour drive) that could use a fresh coat of paint. I'm wondering if anyone would like to trade their services for a stay at the cottage. Looking for someone with experience and ability, not just someone who thinks they can paint (otherwise I'd be doing it!). We're proposing you can have your pick of almost any week (do have 2 rentals booked) in May or June from a Monday to a Friday. Cannot say enough great things about this cottage! It is super close to the beach and other activities (ice cream, food, etc.) not to mention it is stunning!
Everything is labelled so you're not searching around the kitchen for a bowl or a fork.
Great stuff for kids too - their own cutlery, cups, beach toys and outdoor toys. Owners are easily reachable and have set the place up perfectly.
Honestly if you have kids - rent this place, you won't regret it!
