This is how we know it is July. Our garden has its own way of telling us!

According to our previous neighbour, Mrs Greenham, these peonies were the pride and joy of two sisters, Emma and Minnie Hodder, who once lived here with their brother Eddie Hodder. Apparently the two sisters were keen gardeners and every July the lilacs, peonies and roses remind us of them!
