What was previously Spindrift Oak Manor, is now proudly known as the Oak Manor by Burnside Brewing Company!

Head over to to learn more & read our story 🧡

While we couldn’t possibly hold on to this secret any longer, there is still a lot of transitioning to be done.

Before you know it, we will have new signs on our taprooms & Burnside branded beer in the fridge!

We want to thank the Antigonish community for their support - please visit us over the next few weeks to grab any remaining Spindrift merchandise on the shelves

Much love, your Oak Manor team

We are looking for your input for an Antigonish Tourism Strategy through an online survey: https://www.research.net/r/Antigonish-Tourism-Strategy-Survey. The survey will be open until February 28, 2023.

Meet Rosemary!

Rosemary lives in Port Bickerton, NS and has a team supporting our Sydney location for the Coldest Night of the Year. She goes out daily getting sponsors, has contacted numerous churches and businesses in her area, and is organizing a bake sale, giveaways, etc. She has several other folks joining her as well. They are doing all this because they believe in Souls Harbour Rescue Mission and have a real heart for the work to be done in Sydney. Port Bickerton, by the way, is on the Eastern Shore, in Guysborough County, 3.5 hours away from our Sydney location and yet they are putting in an amazing effort to help and raise awareness!

Happy New Years to you and yours.

Our community will be gathering for a POW WOW at St. FX this Spring during the April 1-2, 2023 weekend.

St.FX has graciously accepted hosting our Community Ceremony in keeping with our on-going partnership with the University and our renewed Peace & Friendship Treaties signed with the County of Antigonish. We couldn't be more grateful to the campus for having us.

The reason we are having our gathering at St.FX is due to the lack of capacity to host large gathering at our powwow grounds/Community Centre at this time. There is not enough room for parking, weather etc.

We will be providing shuttle services from Paqtnkek to the St.FX Campus so individuals are able to attend the Powwow
