Important reminder for fully-vaccinated travellers who want to reunite with family members in Canada:

Extended family members can only travel to/enter Canada if they have written permission from IRCC and are staying for 15 days or more. If they plan to stay less than 15 days, they must demonstrate why their travel is not optional. This applies to people who are extended family members of Canadian citizens, persons registered under the Indian Act, or permanent residents of Canada. International students: As of July 5 at 11:59 PM EDT, if you meet the requirements for fully vaccinated travellers to Canada AND you have a valid study permit to attend an approved DLI, you may be exempt from quarantine requirements.

Changes to the invitation to apply period under Express Entry

An updated version of with will be released on July 5. Make sure you use the latest version in order to benefit from the new exemptions for fully vaccinated travellers.

All eligible travellers entering Canada must submit their COVID-19 information in ArriveCAN within 72 hours before entering Canada, including:
• travel and contact information
• quarantine plan
• vaccination information
• reference code for a confirmed three-night reservation at a government-authorized accommodation (for air travellers only, unless fully-vaccinated or exempt; and
• COVID-19 self-assessment.

A traveller can also have a friend or family member enter the information into ArriveCAN for them.

International Students in Canada may be eligible to apply for Open Work Permit. Kindly contact for further details.

International students: if you have been affected by while in Canada and hold or held a post-graduation work permit (PGWP), you will now have the opportunity to apply for another open work permit.

On January 27, 2021, foreign nationals in Canada with an expired or expiring PGWP will have a one-time opportunity to apply for another open work permit with a duration of 18 months. Applications will be accepted until July 27, 2021.
