These turkeys are so funny! They have learned how to use the boardwalk on the walking trail to get to the cottage. They must make their appearance for the guests...haha.

We would like to wish you all a safe, happy and Merry Christmas from the "Buck stops here". The bucks, does & fawns have started moving back home for the winter. It sure is exciting to watch them from the cottage when they stroll through. We are just 2 minutes from the skidoo trails and will be maintaining groomed snowshoe trails once we have enough snow. Our guests are the best! How thoughtful of them, they had the most perfect unique gift for us. And it smells so good. So happy to have met the creators of such fine soap! Do you enjoy hiking and sightseeing? If you do, make sure you reserve your stay with enough time to take in the surroundings. We have 3 trails, 1 that is groomed with a shelter and firepit as well as 2 trails that we cut out last fall that also lead to the shelter and firepit. They will soon be ready for our winter snowshoe trails!

This is shaping up to be an epic event and I can’t wait to capture it! The teams are stacked with some of the best anglers in the world. Gustafson, Izumi, Wheeler and Gallant to name a few. Fishing for our St John river small mouth!
