Three tips for your vacation rental getaway!



Location!

Make sure you know where your Airbnb will be. Run through the list of what activities you were planning to enjoy and make sure your vacation rental location fits well for these! Do you plan on walking everywhere and need to be close to restaurants and shopping? Or would you prefer to be a little out of the way for extra privacy and quiet? A great location can be very subjective. What sounds like the perfect spot for one, would be a ‘not so great’ spot for another (and vice versa).



Amenities!

Take a good look (or better yet, ask the host) for what amenities your Airbnb offers. Cooking supplies, spices, coffee, soaps, shampoo, hair dryer, iron, games, speaker, etc, the list goes on and on. Make sure you’re aware of what your vacation rental offers so you’re not disappointed with an expectation of something being there that’s not, or that you’re not having to over pack something that’s already there for you to use!



Events!

Know what events are taking place close to your vacation rental during your stay. Finding out your intended weekend stay falls on the same time as a concert festival could be music to your ears (pun intended ;), or maybe that’s not such great news as you were hoping for a quiet, peaceful getaway.
