The Daily Drum
Today I am featuring a Trout Drum.
Fishing was an important means of survival for the Mi’kmaq people. It was important that fishermen were successful in their task for the survival of the community.

Recreational Fishing Advisory Council meeting link below 👇
Join the discussion tonight at 630pm.

Additional dates are November 28th and December 7th both at 630pm. For phone conference information, please contact [email protected] or call 902-485-5056

16/11/2023

Recreational Fishing Advisory Council (RFAC) meetings will continue to be held virtually but we will be trying a slightly different format this year. Instead of hosting region specific meetings, all meetings will share the same agenda so that participants may speak openly about any issues that are important to them and not feel geographically restricted. We want to hear from you on topics and issues in your area and across the province. You have a vast knowledge of the sport fishery, and your input and recommendations are valuable.

November 27, 2023 @ 6:30pm
November 28, 2023 @ 6:30pm
December 7, 2023 @ 6:30pm

Links to join meetings virtually will be posted closer to the date. For phone conference information, please call 902-485-5056 or contact [email protected]

🐟 Meeting participants will be eligible to win a Fish Nova Scotia prize package. 🐟

Anglers are reminded to carry a thermometer and check temperatures regularly through the day. Water temperatures over 20 degree may impact survival of released Atlantic salmon and trout.
