We finished off a great Gulf Island trip in Conover Cove, Wallace Island last night. We had amazing bioluminescence in the bay followed by a beautiful early morning sunrise cruise through Porlier Pass where we came out to see humpback whales feeding along Valdez Island!

Venture BC

Venture BC is a certified Recreational Boating School based out of Horse Shoe Bay, British Columbia. We offer custom sailing trips, celebration sails, introductory cruises, navigation instruction, and sailing clinics.

Keanna, the owner of this operation, has been sailing all her life. Growing up on the coast of British Columbia, she fell in love with the ocean. So much so, that she has worked hard to make sure she could have a lifestyle surrounded by water. Keanna holds a Master of Yachts certificate, as well as her PADI Dive Instructor certification. Keanna has been fortunate enough to sail through many seas - she has sailed around the British Virgin Islands (multiple times), the Hawaiian islands, California's coast, and of course, all throughout beautiful British Columbia's waters. In 2014, Keanna took part in a college program aboard a 112 foot schooner sailing through Indonesia, across the Indian Ocean, and down the coast of South Africa. Keanna has worked in the charter/tourism industry for the past five years - from Vancouver, BC, to the Cayman Islands, the British Virgin Islands, and back again to BC. Keanna loves sharing her passion, not only for sailing, but for all water sports and exploration of new places. She can't wait to meet you!
