Applicant says:
"Hi. I am applying for Canada visitor visa, i am preparing documents. Please answer my few questions as its my first time.
1) is it mandatory to have a hotel booking? How can i have a valid hotel booking without losing any money.
As i dont have a credit card, can i book hotel from my friends credit card??? Is there any way of booking a hotel without paying anything?
2) how to book a flight? Do i have to pay in advance? Is there any way of flight reservation as a proof without paying.
Please Help."

MY GENERAL ADVISE IS:

While I agree with previous comments that confirmed flights are not yet necessary, providing projected departure and return dates, accomodation details and your day to day itinerary while in Canada are a must. After all, as a tourist visiting any country, you are expected to have your trip pre-planned and not an unplanned visit. Tourist actually plan their trips. Case processing officers look at hundreds of visa applications on a weekly basis and they can tell at a glance if you are a genuine temporary visitor or not. This is in particular to visitor who are required to secure a visa before travelling to Canada specially if you do not have a good travel history.

✅ We've expanded our online application portal to most permanent residence (PR) applicants and will begin transitioning to 100% digital applications for most PR programs on September 23, with alternate formats available for people who require accommodations: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/news/2022/08/transitioning-to-online-applications-for-permanent-residence.html

✅ By Spring 2023, we will expand our permanent residence application status tracker to include more PR programs and some temporary residence (TR) programs, to help applicants more easily check their application status online.

✅ To help reduce wait times, we intend to introduce a temporary policy to exempt PR and TR applicants who meet certain criteria and are already in Canada from having to submit another Immigration Medical Exam, saving them time and money.

✅ We resumed in-person spousal sponsorship interviews at Canadian and international offices but continue to offer virtual interviews to clients, where possible. We are also working to expand the availability of virtual interviews overseas.

✅ Our online citizenship application tool now allows groups of adults to apply together. We plan to expand this tool to offer online applications for minors under the age of 18 by the end of the year. Access to our online Citizenship Application Tracker will also be extended to include representatives this September.

We will continue to set the bar higher for processing so more people can achieve their dream of becoming Canadians and Canada continues to benefit from all that newcomers have to offer to communities across the country. Maging Kwalipikado para sa CEC bilang isang International Student

Ang mga International Student na magtatapos sa isang eligible educational program sa Canada ay ang pangunahing grupo ng mga indibidwal na nakakuha ng permanent residence sa pamamagitan ng CEC.

Narito ang pinakakaraniwang paraan upang makakuha ng Canadian permanent residence sa pamamagitan ng CEC bilang isang International Student:

Step 1: Kumpletuhin ang iyong educational program sa isang Canadian designated learning institution.
Step 2: Pumunta sa IRCC at mag-apply para sa Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP).
Step 3: Sa iyong PGWP, kumuha ng hindi bababa sa 1,560 paid work hours sa Canada sa under NOC 0, A, o B na trabaho.
Step 4: Kumuha ng pagsusulit sa wikang Ingles o Pranses na itinalaga ng IRCC at kunin ang minimum na kinakailangan sa Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) (CLB 7 para sa NOC 0 at A work experience at CLB 5 para sa NOC B work experience).
Step 5: Gumawa ng Express Entry Profile para makasama ka sa Express Entry pool.

Kung nakakuha ka ng imbitasyon para mag-apply, goal ng IRCC na iproseso ang iyong aplikasyon para sa permanent residence sa loob ng anim na buwan.

***EXPERIENCE SHARING***
Kaka celebrate ko lang ng 33rd birthday ko at naisipan ko na pagplanuhan ang pagpunta sa Canada.
Naka almost 2 years ako ng college sa Allied Health course at karamihan sa work experience ko ay hindi related sa 2yr studies ko sa college. I have a wife and a daughter. Yung qualifications ng asawa ko ay halos pareho ng sa akin.
Naisip ko na mag-aral sa Canada ng program of study na mag bibigay sa akin ng diploma (2yr study). Sa ngayon ay naka pag-apply na ako sa isang designated learning institution (Mohawk College) sa Hamilton Ontario at nag-iintay ng acceptance para mabigyan nila ako ng LOA(letter of acceptance) para magamit ko sa pag-apply ng student visa. Medyo bitin ang supporting docs na inasa ko sa Mohawk dahil pa-expire na ang passport ko (less than 6mos validity na).
Ang target ko ay makarating kami ng pamilya ko sa Hamilton mga bandang buwan ng July para sa pag-start ng Fall Semester (September 2022).
Magkano sa tingin ko ang magagastos ko sa process na ito:
EXAMPLE:
If you and 2 family members want to come to a province (other than Quebec) for a year, you will need
living expenses: $10,000 (for the student)
living expenses: $4,000 (for the first family member)
living expenses: $3,000 (for the second family member)
Total: $17,000
ESTIMATED TUITION FEE for (1) ONE YEAR ONLY
$14,081.93
PLUS Health Insurance (Guard.me)

Hindi pa kasama dito ang flights at insurance coverage para sa asawa at anak ko. Sa kabuuan dapat mayroon kang at least 35-40thou fund in Canadian dollars.

Naniniwala ako na ang Canada ang pinakamagandang bansang tirahan sa maraming dahilan. Kilala ang Canada sa pagkakaiba-iba nito, kakaibang kultura at siyempre ang magandang bahagi ng Niagara Falls. Ito ay isang maganda at mapayapang bansa, tinatanggap ang mga tao nang bukas ang mga kamay. Nag-aalok ang Canada sa mga mamamayan at pati na rin sa mga bagong dating ng maraming pagkakataon na lumago, matuto at mamuhay ng kamangha-manghang kalidad ng buhay.

Ito ang pinakamagandang tirahan dahil sa maraming positibong dahilan. Nag-aalok ang Canada ng libreng edukasyon, pangangalagang pangkalusugan at panghuli, isa ito sa pinakaligtas at ligtas na mga bansa sa mundo.
