Review of MSC Seaside

We had a fantastic time on MSC Seaside, despite the bad weather. The passenger profile was perfect for us—40% European, 40% Canadian—which created a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. One of the things we really appreciated was how no one got worked up over the itinerary change, making for a stress-free cruise experience.

Ship & Atmosphere

The Diamond Like staircase was absolutely stunning for photos—a true highlight for capturing memories. The ship itself felt elegant and modern, with countless bars offering plenty of options to unwind and socialize. The atmosphere was lively yet never overwhelming, making it easy to meet people and enjoy the experience.

Entertainment & Dining

We had a blast at karaoke—such a fun crowd and a great way to spend the evenings! The Specialty restaurants were fabulous, especially the sushi—one of the best dining experiences on board. The food, overall, was impressive for the price point, and we felt it was excellent value. The Cirque du Soleil show left us in awe.

Cabins & Design

The cabins were classy, with a sophisticated color scheme of burgundy and navy that gave them a luxurious feel. Everything was well-designed, comfortable, and clean, making it a great retreat after a full day of activities.

Overall Experience

We would highly recommend MSC Seaside, particularly for its great value and welcoming atmosphere. We felt like we fit in well with the clientele, which wasn’t dominated by American passengers—a nice change from some other cruise lines. We loved our stay at Lennox Hotel Miami! The spa-style pool, kept at the perfect hot-tub temperature, was beyond amazing. Relaxation and luxury in every detail—highly recommend!

🌴 Sandals Montego Bay: A Week of Pure Bliss! 🌴

We just spent 7 unforgettable nights at Sandals Montego Bay, and it truly exceeded our expectations.

🍣 Soy: The Star of Our Trip: We loved Soy so much we dined there four nights! The sushi carpaccio was easily the best we’ve ever had—fresh, flavorful, and absolutely unforgettable.

🛋️ Our Perfect Room: Our room was incredible—a penthouse with a soaking tub on the balcony. Daily ocean-view baths quickly became our favorite way to unwind. Waking up to the sound of the waves was just the cherry on top.

🛬 Unbeatable Convenience: Being so close to the airport meant we were on the beach almost immediately after landing. The location couldn’t be more ideal.

🌊 Included Scuba Diving: As certified divers, we loved that scuba diving was included. It was convenient and a great value, making it easy to explore the vibrant underwater world.

🚐 Two Resorts in One: The free hourly shuttle to Sandals Royal Caribbean was such a bonus! We got to enjoy even more dining options and relax on their private island—it felt like two vacations in one.

✈️ Stress-Free Departure: We booked the MoBay Lounge in advance (there’s a fee, but it’s well worth it!). It made our departure day so much easier with complimentary drinks, snacks, and a relaxing space to unwind before our flight home.

We’re staying at Sandals Montego Bay and decided to take the shuttle over to Sandals Royal Caribbean for the day—what a great experience! While Royal Caribbean is smaller, it really stands out with its beautiful architectural details and amazing pools. That said, nothing beats the big, stunning beach at Montego Bay. Both resorts have their charm, and it’s so fun to explore! Highly recommend checking out both if you ever visit!

🌴 Day 1 at Sandals Montego Bay 🌴

What a start to our vacation! We were greeted in style at the airport’s private Sandals lounge with cold beer in hand. 🍺 Within 30 minutes, we were at our resort—talk about VIP treatment!

Check-in at the concierge desk was quick and seamless, and before we knew it, we were settling into our stunning club-level penthouse room with a soaking tub and incredible views. 🌊

The rain kept us from exploring much, but we made the most of it—relaxing at the lobby bar with a few drinks, and soaking in the peaceful vibe of our room. Stay tuned for more adventures—and maybe I’ll share a video of our incredible room! 🛁🍹

Alright, folks, diving dilemma! Apparently, a full shave is best for a perfect mask seal, but Mathieu isn’t ready to go full babyface just yet. Instead, he’s considering a ‘strategic 3mm trim’ under the nose for that perfect leak-proof-meets-dapper look. 😂

So, will he rock it like James Bond or end up with a mask half-full of ocean? Dive pros, any advice? Or should I just pack a snorkel as backup? 🐠🤿

🌊✈️ Ready to make a splash! Mathieu and I are heading to Sandals Montego Bay this week, and we’re thrilled to dive right into the adventure – quite literally! With our dive certifications and Sandals' free diving, we'll be soaking up every underwater minute. 🐠🤿

Today, we stopped by the dive shop for some new gear, and the dive master dropped a bombshell: for a leak-free mask, Mathieu should consider shaving… his moustache, or maybe even his beard! 😆
