Taffy Lake Retreat is located in a rural area between Fredericton & Woodstock, NB.

It is a wonderful place to come with families and friends to disconnect from the everyday and reconnect, making new memories at the same time.

Your stay with us includes the use of canoe, kayaks, paddleboards & a pedal boat. It is equipped with wifi, heat & ac, a firepit area and a bbq.

Two bedrooms and an open concept area can accomodate up to eight guests.

We still have winter availability too!

July is already partially booked up (pending receipt of deposits). We will probably be closed some of April & May to do some renovations but will be open for the May long weekend and afterwards. June & August still has lots of availability.

Book early for best availabilty. We have some dates on hold. Deposits are due by the end of January. DM us for more information, rates & availability.

I can't imagine a more cozy spot for winter, you do need a four wheel drive to drive all the way down. A short snow shoe in is another option (we can usually help with the heavy stuff after 3 pm).

Interested in a summer stay? We will be opening up our calender in January. We do not anticipate any large price increases but will need to charge HST in 2025.

Our daughter does horseback riding on Fridays. Friday on our way back, the sky was so beautiful that I was envious that we were not at the lake. Well Dan (one of our great guests) must have read my mind, because he captured this beautiful sunset.

I like the dawn one too with the fog, so still and peaceful.

We often get asked when the best time to come for the foliage.

While it is different every year, in this photo taken today we see a few trees just starting.

Approximately two-four weeks (late September-mid October) will probably be the best time. But if the weather holds out it could be longer.

When you turn your back for a minute and look back and sunset has painted the clouds in hues of reds and pinks.

Not quite fall yet, but there are a few trees starting to change colors on the drive to the lake.

We still have fall weekends available.

Book your fall lake-ation (see what I did there? A vacation at the lake!)

Autumn at Taffy Lake Retreat is amazing. The lake tends to be quiet in the fall, especially before hunting season. The days are warm, the nights are cool and crisp. It is perfect campfire weather, and still warm enough to paddle around the lake, and sometimes you can go for a quick dip.

Message for fall availability, we still have a few openings left, we recommend planning on a longer stay as it's so pretty, you won't want to leave. We take bookings year round and will be watching weather conditions & advise on driving down all the way in November & December.

Taffy Lake Retreat is located in a rural area between Fredericton & Woodstock. It is not a high tourist area, more of a relaxed kind of vacation, if you enjoy peace, calm, nature, this is the spot for you.

Stay for sunset when working on projects at the lake, a priceless bonus.
It's nice to just stop.
Take a pause.
We have seen hundreds of sunsets and they still fill us with awe.
