A lovely spot to unwind in nature. Our cottage is on a quiet lake in a rural area between Fredericton & Woodstock NB. It is perfect for people looking to unwind & reconnect with family & friends. It is not in a heavily touristy area in itself, but it is centrally located in NB.

We still have summer availability (June 27-September 1 is a three night minimum; occasionally a two night gap may become available)

June 19-June 25
July 5-8 available
August 26-September 3 available

September & October availability is reasonably good

Our cottage can sleep up to 8 in the summer. Summer stays include the use of canoe, kayaks, paddleboards, pedal boat.

Bedrooms are upstairs (in case mobility is an issue). Bedroom 1 has a king size log bed & small private deck overlooking the lake. Bedroom 2 has a quuen size bed with window overlooking the woods/driveway. Bedroom 3 is a large open area at the top of the stairs separating bedroom 1 & 2; it has a double log bed, twin log bed and custom child bed. A washroom completes the upstairs. Downstairs has kitchen, dining & living areas.

The cottage is equipped with a firepit area, bbq, wifi and has heat pumps for ac & heat.

Do you have "snow doubt"? Like maybe you lost all your snow last week with the rain. Oh we go that too, but we still literally have piles of snow, enough for skiing, sledding, snow shoeing, sliding, etc. Curling up by the fire is okay too. Well, not for us, obviously we've got to shovel! We have two weekends left available in March & availability during the week too!

We still have some availability in March! Located between Fredericton & Woodstock, NB. Approximately 15 minutes from Crabbe Mountain. AC/heat, woodstove, wifi, firepit & bbq included.

We can accomodate up to 5 during the winter

Taffy Lake Retreat is located in a rural area between Fredericton & Woodstock, NB.

It is a wonderful place to come with families and friends to disconnect from the everyday and reconnect, making new memories at the same time.

Your stay with us includes the use of canoe, kayaks, paddleboards & a pedal boat. It is equipped with wifi, heat & ac, a firepit area and a bbq.

Two bedrooms and an open concept area can accomodate up to eight guests (in summer)

In the winter we can accomodate five guests (there is only one washroom inside & the hot water takes an hour to replenish).

We still have winter weekends available. And we are only 15 minutes from ski Crabbe Mountain!

Summer stays are a three night minimum.

Book your summer 2025 stay with us!

We still have winter availability too!

July is already partially booked up (pending receipt of deposits). We will probably be closed some of April & May to do some renovations but will be open for the May long weekend and afterwards. June & August still has lots of availability.

Book early for best availabilty. We have some dates on hold. Deposits are due by the end of January. DM us for more information, rates & availability.

I can't imagine a more cozy spot for winter, you do need a four wheel drive to drive all the way down. A short snow shoe in is another option (we can usually help with the heavy stuff after 3 pm).

Interested in a summer stay? We will be opening up our calender in January. We do not anticipate any large price increases but will need to charge HST in 2025.

Our daughter does horseback riding on Fridays. Friday on our way back, the sky was so beautiful that I was envious that we were not at the lake. Well Dan (one of our great guests) must have read my mind, because he captured this beautiful sunset.

I like the dawn one too with the fog, so still and peaceful.
