Sportball is a non-competitive multi-sport program for children 16mth-12yrs. Birthday parties and special events can be arranged to fit into your schedule.

In our Multi-Sport programs, children from 16 months to 12 years of age, are provided with a skills-driven, high-energy and fun-filled curriculum. Multi-Sport instruction introduces children to the fundamental concepts and skills behind eight popular sports: soccer, hockey, basketball, baseball, volleyball, tennis, golf & football. Using creative instruction and positive encouragement, our program
s focus on the development of gross motor skills, along with balance, strength, co-ordination, stamina and timing. The equipment that we use is age-appropriate and sized just right for the children in our programs. Sportball offers weekly classes that are run seasonally, as well as camps and clinics during school holidays. We offer Sportball programs right in the community in churches, community centres, schools, daycares, private clubs, parks and other green spaces. In our Sportball Fitkids program, kids aged 6–12 are introduced to fitness through our fun, functional fitness curriculum. Building on our strength in non-competitive sports instruction, we have developed a new program that will help children improve their overall fitness and health. By incorporating key body movements, this integrated functional training program will help to build flexibility, stability, agility, balance and core strength. Studies have proven that Fitkids perform better in school.

Programs this spring at Hillcrest Community Centre are open for registration !!!🥳🥳🥳
Sportball at Hillcrest!
Whether it’s Sportball Vancouver T-Ball, baseball, soccer, floor hockey or multi-sport, there’s big league fun at Hillcrest! This kids program introduces fundamental concepts of gameplay and teaches the basic skills required to play ball with confidence in a supportive, non-competitive environment. Coaches zero in on skills like throwing, catching, batting form, running bases and fielding in fun, exciting, skill-focused play. Classes take place outdoors rain or shine and for safety reasons we ask that ONE parent stay at the field while remaining in a socially distant proximity to other parents.
WHEN: Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays & Sundays
April – June & July – August 2024
AGE: various - depends on program (1 to 9 yrs)
Hurry and register early!
Classes are held outdoors; on the field behind the preschool room and community centre. Exception: Sportball Multisport Camp takes place in Hillcrest gymnasium.
