The loft is an open-concept living area that boasts over 2000 sq ft of living space that gives you just the right amount of country and just the right amount of urban. You will have everything you need including a full
stocked kitchen, dining area, comfortable living room with a fireplace and large flat screen TV with DVD player and a variety of DVD's, 3 bedrooms, 1.5 bath, a washer and dryer and much more. This 4-season vacation destination offers peaceful walking trails for all seasons, bird watching, fishing, hiking, cross country skiing, snowshoeing and snowmobile trails. Also, close by are the shores of beautiful Lake Huron, The Blyth Festival Theatre and Stratford Festival Theatre; offering some of the best stage theatre in Canada, the annual Blyth Thresher Steam Show, The Old Mill shopping center, golf courses, spa resorts, shopping and a variety of dining options.

The Goderich to Guelph rail trail (AKA the G2G Trail) is a 132K trail from end to end, with 53 of those kilometers running through Huron County and right in front of Blyth Brook Cottage. It is scenic and beautiful and perfect for those bike enthusiasts or for a lovely stroll on a sunny afternoon.

What an incredible year! We hosted 42 guests/families in 2023. We are so grateful our guests chose BBC to be a small part of their years' journey. Many memories were made, birthdays and anniversaries were celebrated, summer family vacations were enjoyed, hunting groups regathered, friends came together for a girls or mens weekend.

Who doesn't love a little history?
Previously an apple orchard, Blyth Brook Cottage is a vacation rental on 120 acres of lush land, endless trails, bush and pond.
What makes our cottage so unique and beautiful is our barndominium-style building, which was once the holding shed for the apples. It has since been transformed into a loft-style living space. Our guest-favourite feature is the large screened-in roll-up door. It allows for fresh air and natural sun light and gives our guests the tranquility of our gorgeous property from the inside, too.
Blyth Brook Cottage is only a short 2-minute drive from the lovely village of Blyth and Cowbell Brewery and only 15 minutes east of the beautiful shores of Lake Huron. We are also located on the G2G (Guelph to Goderich) trail.
The village of Blyth offers many unique shopping treasures, restaurants and gorgeous surrounding countryside - everything you need to help make your stay enjoyable in every season!
