Heads up. The 2024 B.C. Building Code goes into effect Today.

There seems to be a lot of confusion regarding the big changes to Zonings and Bylaws from BC Housing legislation introduced at the end of 2023. Municipalities have until the end of June to lay out their Official Community Plan, however, The "Provincial Policy Manual and Site Standards for Small Scale Multi-Unit Housing" (SSMUH) is available. Gives a good idea what to expect.

2023 BC Children's Hospital Foundations Lottery No.1 Grand Prize. South Surrey Home. Here's a slick from my plan book. Designed in 2017. I included the main and upper floor plans, however I notice that some small changes occurred during construction. This plan also has a full finished basement (not shown). The total floor area is around 4400 sq.ft. plus double garage. See the BC Children's Hospital Foundations Lottery website for info and pictures.

AbSoluTion Homeplan Design plan # T34402b (designed by me) is in fact the #1 Grand Prize for the BC Children's Hospital Lottery 2022. From what I understand, tickets are already sold out, but best of luck to everyone.
