They went back and forth on which ship and company to go with but had their hearts set on the Treasure and made the leap.

✨Booked!✨
Recently I helped a family book their pre-cruise stay at Universal’s Endless Beach. They are spending a few days relaxing at the pool before heading to Port Canaveral to board their cruise.
I always recommend heading to Florida a day or two early before a cruise to avoid being late and missing the ship!
Combining a Universal Studios stay or a Walt Disney World stay is the top of my list. You can either relax at the resorts or head into the parks for a couple of go go go days and then use your cruise to unwind!

✨Hi✨
I’ve had a few new followers in the past few months and have been meaning to do an introduction post. So here it is!!
I think it is important that you have a connection with your travel agent. You need to work with someone who understands your needs and wants!
Here’s a few things about me!
✨ I am a full time Kindergarten teacher, and I love working with the littles.
✨When I am not working, planning trips or playing with my kids you can find me reading books. My first go to’s are rom-com, then thrillers and I’ve slowly gotten into fantasy. So if you have recommendations let me know below 👇🏻
✨ I danced and figure skated growing up, and when I was younger I danced on cruise ships for a couple of years. It was an experience like no other! And I met some lifelong friends.
✨ My favourite season is fall. I love when the leaves change colours and the crisp mornings. Snuggling on the couch with a good book.
✨I love Disney! That should be obvious. When I’m not going to Disney I’m thinking about how I can convince my husband to go again.
✨ My favourite Disney princess is Belle, because she loves reading and is wanting an adventure outside of her town.
✨I need coffee in order to function. I prefer iced coffee which drives the hubby crazy when I’m ordering an iced shaken espresso in the middle of the winter.

This could be you in the next couple of years!
The best time to book rooms on a cruise ship is as soon as they are released! You get the best pick of the rooms and the better deals as well.
They only require a deposit to hold your room and then you have the rest of the time to save, save, save!
I love the all inclusive aspect of cruising, mixed with visiting different beaches every day, plus lots of entertainment for all ages! It truly is a perfect way to vacation.

🎡 Pixar Place Hotel ✨
This newly themed hotel is super cute!! It is perfect for you and your little ones to stay in! It is part of the Disney on site hotels and you get 30 minutes early entry into the parks.
Hop back over to the hotel mid day for a pool break in their splash pad. Which is much needed in the Californian summer heat.
The theming is perfect for the littles as they recognize their favourite characters from the hotel lobby, to the pool deck to the rooms! They won’t want to leave!

🌙 NIGHTS AT THE PARKS ✨
Some of my favourite times at the parks are when the sun goes down. The parks light up and it becomes a whole different type of magical.
After the fireworks a lot of guests tend to leave, especially if they have younger kids. Which ends up making ride lines lower. For the most part.
Plus it is so beautiful to walk around them! If you are staying at deluxe hotels in Walt Disney World you do get extended hours at Magic Kingdom and EPCOT on select days of the week. Which, again results in shorter lines!
If your family doesn’t like early mornings then I always recommend staying until park close. Every trip is different which is why my tips and tricks for you change depending on your preferences!

The M family is off to experience the Halloween season at the Disneyland Resort! They are celebrating a 60th birthday with their entire family and I couldn’t be more excited for them!
They chose to stay in the Disney bubble at The Disneyland Hotel. They will get to experience 30 minutes early entry at the parks and have a short walk to security and Downtown Disney.
This hotel really makes you feel like you are in Disney and the new villas are stunning.
You can do a split stay with a good neighbour hotel if the whole stay is out of budget!

✨Gift Cards ✨
I love using gift cards when in Disney and I usually always recommend it. Here’s why 👇🏻
💵 You can use your gift card to help pay for your trip. Okay so this one is cheating because it is BEFORE your vacation but it can be done!
💵 If you are Canadian you save any fees that your credit cards may charge foreign exchange fees. You will still use the exchange rate but you won’t have the extra penalties.
💵 You can use points from grocery stores to purchase them! This takes some creative thinking but it can be done.
💵 The only thing that is a pain is when you are mobile ordering food or drinks in the parks. You can’t save a gift card to your account. But put the number into your notes app and copy it when making your purchase!
It’s super easy and it helps me budget my trips!

This hotel is great location wise, plus with the water park taking a break from the parks or adding in a rest day, you won’t be worried about finding something in the area to do.

Everyone does the parks differently, whether you are an early riser and up for rope drop, or whether you prefer to sleep in a stay until the parks close. There is no wrong way to do a park.
Not every strategy works for everyone, that’s why it’s my goal to find the strategy that works for YOUR family.

This mom and daughter duo decided to stay onsite at a Universal Studios hotel for their Harry Potter focused trip together!
I LOVE the Harry Potter areas of the parks here and can’t wait to help guide them through their days!
They took advantage of some good sales that are happening, which helped them save money!
