✨Summer 2026 Cruise News✨

It’s not too early to start thinking about your summer travel for next year. In fact, it is the perfect time if you are thinking about going on a Disney Cruise! The prices for these cruises are the lowest when they are first released. This year they are releasing February 17th! There are so many good cruises to choose from!
At time of booking all you need to do is put down a 20% deposit, then your final payment isn’t due until 120 days before sailing. Which means you have SO MUCH time to pay off your cruise. By the time it comes it’s basically FREE. (Disney cruise math/girl math). You can even make payments as you go so it isn’t a huge hit at one time.
Here are some highlights!

Being in Vancouver Alaska is a popular cruise destination. You don’t have to worry about flights or hotel, all you have to do is pack your bags and head downtown the morning of embarkation. Alaska has BEAUTIFUL scenery and so many fun activities to do for your family.

The Disney magic is alive at Magic Kingdom, especially in the eyes of a toddler. Their eyes light up at the sight of the castle walking down Main Street, meeting Mickey and Minnie and the joy of the rides. This park is a toddler paradise.
The selection of rides that they can join in on is a lot. But something to note is that some of the rides do have an element of darkness or fear or can be a bit loud for young ears. Our kids liked watching videos of the rides to have an idea of what was going to happen.
There are so many things to look at and explore at the park for littles that you are sure to have an exciting day.

🦒Animal Kingdom Lodge 🦒

Up next on my hotel highlight series is the stunning Animal Kingdom Lodge. This resort is located closest to Animal Kingdom and takes a little bit longer to get to the other parks. But its beauty and tranquility makes up for the location.
Imagine this…. You wake up early, make a coffee, and head out to your Savannah view balcony. You sit down, watch the beautiful sunrise and see zebras, giraffes and other animals wandering around also enjoying their morning. 🤯 it is absolutely amazing!
Plus they have a delicious buffet style restaurant Boma, where there are a variety of options for everyone. Or book a reservation at Sanaa for a delicious sit down meal! Get their bread service, you won’t be disappointed!!
Animal Kingdom Lodge is in the deluxe resort category, which means you not only get the early entry to all the parks but you also get to enjoy the extended evenings on select nights at select parks. This gives you a full hour after the park closes to get on rides and enjoy the atmosphere without all of the crowds.
It’s still a popular resort for families, it’s not as big as some other resorts but the Savannah view rooms will have the kids excited about looking out to see what animals are outside!

It’s no secret that Walt Disney world has a wide variety of hotels to choose from, all of which have different price tags.
You might be thinking: “but Michelle is it necessary to stay on site?!”
No but yes 🤷🏼‍♀️ I am strongly pro staying onsite in Walt Disney world. This is because of the size of the property and the perks that come with it. (Stay tuned for another post that will outline all of these ;) )
Each resort has something different to offer, Art of Animation is one of our top favourites in our household! Followed by All-Star Movies. These two are moderate and value resorts so you aren’t breaking the bank too badly, especially with the conversion rate right now.
But let me tell you, when we were there last February all the girls wanted to do was go back to the hotel. Their favourite moments were leisurely walking around and visiting all of the different car statues and taking pictures in front of them. They still ask to go back every other day…..
When you are staying on property make sure that you take a day to relax and spend time at your resort!

Only one of my all time favourite lands (minus Cars Land) to visit. I don’t know if it is the nostalgia of watching Toy Story growing up or all of the amazing details in this area, but it is not one to skip on!
It is smaller than I expected, can get quite busy and hot during the middle of the day. But it is still super cool!
Keep an eye out for your favourite Toy Story characters, and don’t forget to mobile order from Woody’s Lunch Box! My favourites are their tatchos and their Lunch Box Tarts!!

Things have been very busy over here, in both my work and personal life so social media has taken the back burner. I wanted to pop on quickly to say hi I’m still here working on quotes and trips and all of that stuff!
I also wanted to share that there are a lot of offers for cruises in the new year!! Now, I know you are going to say “Michelle life is too crazy and too expensive right now” and honestly, I get it 💸💸
But having an experience to look forward to, especially a Disney one can help us get through the slump. One of the best things about booking a trip is that you can put a deposit down on a cruise and make the payments as you go. As long as it is done before final payment time you are good to go!!

The announcement that we have been waiting for is FINALLY here!
EPIC Universe is opening May 22, 2025!
With this park opening up, that means that there’s 3 theme parks plus a waterpark for you to enjoy. They are so good!
I highly recommend if you are wanting to visit to make the most out of your park days and stay at a hotel on site.

Last week pricing went up for ticket only, we still have a short amount of time before package prices start increasing as well!
If you are planning on going in 2025 drop a 🏰 to get booked in. With a $200 USD deposit we can lock in old ticket pricing! If you need to change dates or cancel that’s okay we can move things around.
I am planning a girls trip in December and will be locking in these prices for sure.
