Why start with too much capital for a travel business, when YOU CAN START at a very affordable capital ☝️

and STILL HAVE THE SAME BENEFITS (and income potential 💖).

Kaya be smart in choosing your own business.

FLYING SAFELY IN THE ‘NEW NORMAL’
PAL is strictly implementing Fly Safe “new normal” practices to protect our passengers, in compliance with international health and safety protocols.

Please bring your own face masks and wear them at all times – at the airport and throughout your flight.

We encourage you to check-in online and arrive early at the airport to allocate extra time for new safety procedures– at least 3 hours prior to departure for domestic flights; and 4 hours prior to departure for international flights.

All PAL aircraft are equipped with high-technology systems that continuously infuse fresh air across the cabin as well as HEPA filters that trap viruses, bacteria and other contaminants with 99.99% efficiency. The air flow system creates a cleaner environment that is safer than most enclosed public spaces and comparable to hospital operating rooms.

For more information, please see here: https://bit.ly/PALKeepsYouSafe

TRAZE CONTACT TRACING APP REQUIREMENT
All passengers flying to, from, or within the Philippines must download and register through Traze Contact Tracing, a unified and automated contact tracing app, before proceeding to the airport.

Passengers who do not have mobile phones or any other mobile gadgets may go to the Traze Helpdesk, located near the terminal entrance in all Philippine airports and at the arrival area of international airports, for registration assistance and QR code printing.

Please visit the Traze website to download and know more: https://www.traze.ph.

SPECIAL REMINDER TO CHECK ON UPDATES:
Our plans and schedules may change in response to evolving travel restrictions and quarantine limitations at arrival airports. Kindly check our website www.philippineairlines.com, or follow our social media accounts for updates.

THANKS FOR YOUR SUPPORT
Your health and safety will always be our top concern, and we wish you safe travels.

Travel Advisory No. 250
𝐉𝐅𝐊-𝐌𝐍𝐋 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐓𝐎𝐑𝐎𝐍𝐓𝐎-𝐌𝐍𝐋 𝐟𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐩 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐢𝐧 𝐕𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐯𝐞𝐫

All PAL flights from New York JFK to Manila (PR 127) and from Toronto to Manila (PR 119) are temporarily being rerouted to avoid flying through Russian airspace for now.

As a result of the longer routings, our JFK-Manila and Toronto-Manila will need to stop over briefly in Vancouver for refueling before proceeding to Manila.

We are taking this precautionary measure in view of airspace closure concerns related to the ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict.

A one-hour refueling stop and the longer routing over the North Pacific Ocean will increase travel time. We seek the kind understanding of our passengers for this necessary step, as safety and operational integrity remains the cornerstone of our operations.

However, our eastbound flights from Manila (PR 126 and PR 118) will continue to operate nonstop Manila to New York JFK, and nonstop Manila to Toronto. (These flights do not overfly Russian territory.)

We will revert to nonstop JFK-MNL and Toronto-MNL flights as soon as we are confident that operational issues are resolved.

Thank you.

Travel Advisory No. 249

ARRIVING IN PH: PASSENGERS MAY OPT TO PRESENT ANTIGEN OR RT-PCR

Travelers arriving in the Philippines now have the option to present upon arrival the negative result of either:

(1) A laboratory-based or clinic-based Antigen test taken within 24 hours prior to flight departure from the country of origin; or

(2) An RT-PCR test taken within 48 hours prior to flight departure from the country of origin.

This is to comply with new health requirements announced by the Philippine Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) as part of an overall relaxation of travel protocols in relation to Covid-19.

Prior to this latest IATF rule, passengers entering the Philippines were required to present a negative RT-PCR test at the minimum.

Fully-vaccinated individuals who comply with mandatory requirements (proof of vaccination/negative Covid-19 test results) are no longer required to observe mandatory facility-based quarantine, but must self-monitor for any signs or symptoms for seven (7) days.

Thank you.

03/11/2022

UPDATE: Vaccinated tourists are only required to present their vaccination card when headed to Cebu City. However, unvaccinated tourists will need to present a negative RT-PCR test result valid within 48 hours prior to arrival.

Make the most out of your trip by checking out must-visit sights like Colon Street, Magellan’s Cross, Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral, and Basilica del Santo Nino (the oldest Catholic Church in the Philippines). Visit cebucity.gov.ph for more information.

02/24/2022

On February 28, 2022, the global travel health notice will change, marking the end to the Government of Canada’s recommendation against non-essential international travel. Travellers should still consider the risks involved in international travel.

The holiday season in the Philippines is ushered in by the sweet smell of P**o Bumbong. This Pinoy holiday dessert is a special type of kakanin that is cooked by steaming a ground, purple rice mixture in a bamboo tube, or “bumbong”, and is commonly sold around churches during Simbang Gabi.

What other staple Filipino food do you enjoy during the holidays?
