✨Disney Cruise Line's Treasure Trip Recap✨

If you know me well, you know I'm not usually lost for words - but I'm not really sure where to start with this one! My 3-Night Preview sailing on Disney's newest ship, the Disney Treasure, was nothing short of unbelievable.

🚢The Treasure has held a special place in my heart for some time now - I've been following its progress since Disney announced this newest addition to the fleet. I watched the Grand Reveal with my kids before school on day, end of summer 2023, and it was at that moment this ship caught our attention. The promise of a storytelling adventure had us hooked and we booked a stateroom onboard the day it was released! Since then, we've been following along discovering all the details of this ship - getting more and more excited for our January 2025 family vacation!🚢

In the days leading up to my preview sailing, I started to worry that maybe I've been so invested in this ship that I've hyped it up for myself. Could it really be as amazing as it sounds? Would it be able to meet my high expectations or have I been setting myself (and my family) up for disappointment? Well, I can tell you with certainty that within the first few moments I stepped foot on the Treasure, welcomed by its cast members and crew, that I knew in that moment the hype was warranted. This ship is a masterpiece.

From the luxurious Grand Hall to the unique lounges and bars that are full of personality - every space on this ship boasts remarkable attention to detail. Disney has worked it's magic to stimulate all the senses -from the sounds🎶 (themed music is used to transition between areas of the ship), tastes🍴 (each dining room offers a menu that matches its spectacular surroundings), smells 👃(Did you know Disney Cruise Lines has a distinct scent?), sights 👀 (the details on this ship are mind-blowing) and touches 🫶 (comfy staterooms, elegant mosaic artwork, living garden murals) - Disney has really outdone itself with this one.

🍽️Dining - The three main dining rooms are themed to perfection. 1923, named for the year The Walt Disney company was founded, celebrates the golden age of animation. World of Marvel boasts an interactive and out-of-this world experience that features some of our favourite superheroes and Guardians of the Galaxy. At Plaza de Coco you've stepped into the world of Coco and are immersed in the sounds and flavours of the town of Saint Cecelia, with authentic and touching musical performances during your meal.

👻🛶🦈🐈‍⬛🦁Lounges - WOW! If you want to see storytelling come to life, the lounges onboard the Treasure are meant for you. I've never experienced theming quite like this. The much-anticipated Haunted Mansion Parlor almost literally knocked me off my feet. There's no way to describe the details in this haunt - it's something you need to see to believe. The piano bar, S**t Cat Lounge, has a moody sophistication that's intoxicating. Skipper's Society transports you to a riverboat Jungle Cruise and hosts great live music. Periscope Pub is the sports hang out - bringing you 20,000 leagues under the sea. You'll find Sarabi, a gathering spot inspired by the African savanna, the place to be for family fun during the day and adult-exclusive entertainment in the evening.

🎭Entertainment - Disney continues to lead the industry with Broadway-caliber entertainment aboard the Treasure. The ship offers 3 jaw-dropping theatre shows - Moana (exclusive to the Treasure), Beauty and the Beast, and Seas the Adventure. I had the opportunity to watch all three - the casting was phenomenal, the performances were engaging and emotional. Leave it to Disney to have grown adults in tears throughout their shows. On a 7-night sailings these shows will be complimented by variety entertainment (magicians, comedians, musical performances) on the other evenings.

🩱🩳Pools - The Treasure boasts 10 pools, a splash pad, slide and Aqua Mouse! I love how the pools are situated, almost layered onto the main outdoor decks. With both family-friendly and adult-only pool areas, there's something for everyone. The Aqua Mouse is an experience in itself - a storytelling water attraction at sea. Note - you WILL get wet and shower caps are NOT allowed.

There are so many more magical places to explore and discover. From the Kids Clubs to Hero Zone, Senses Spa to Untangled Salon, Triton's Lounge to Quiet Cove - the list goes on and on! Each space on this ship feels deliberate and intentional. The Disney Imagineers have put their heart and souls into this one - you can feel it.

🚢The Disney Treasure is truly a floating adventure at sea - from the moment you step onboard you're transported into a warm, luxurious, immersive adventure story beyond imagination. Disney has set the bar high with this one - and has left me counting down the days until I'm back aboard for my next adventure (which thankfully is only a month from now!). Every year around this time, we see Disney's annual increase. This year it is approximately 6.5%. 

Here's the GOOD NEWS:

A $200 USD fully refundable deposit is required to secure your package, with final payment due 30 days in advance. You can pay it off over time, or wait until the due date!
