🕌 The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque is a mosque located in Abu Dhabi, the capital city of the United Arab Emirates. 🇦🇪

It is the country’s largest mosque, and is the key place of worship for daily Islamic prayers.

It had always been on my bucket list to visit. There was something about a completely white mosque that looked so peaceful.

A friend was living in Abu Dhabi and I had a day there so we went… I was so excited!

It was as breathtaking as I thought it would be. It features 82 domes, more than 1,000 columns, 24-carat-gold gilded chandeliers and the world’s largest hand-knotted carpet.

Sagrada Familia, Barcelona, Spain 🇪🇸

The Basílica i Temple Expiatori de la Sagrada Família, otherwise known as Sagrada Família, is a church under construction in the Eixample district of Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain.

It is the largest unfinished Catholic church in the world.

Designed by Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí (1852–1926), in 2005 his work on Sagrada Família was added to an existing (1984) UNESCO World Heritage Site, “Works of Antoni Gaudí”.

Describing Sagrada Família, art critic Rainer Zerbst said “it is probably impossible to find a church building anything like it in the entire history of art”, and Paul Goldberger describes it as “the most extraordinary personal interpretation of Gothic architecture since the Middle Ages”.

Is it Greece? Or Morocco?
No, it’s Sidi Bou Said, just north of the capital Tunis.

Known for its cobbled streets and blue-and-white houses, Sidi Bou Said is a charming town on a promontory overlooking the Mediterranean, with al fresco cafes, Tunisian eateries, and small art galleries.

Early-20th-century Ennejma Ezzahra Palace features arches, ornate stucco, and patterned tilework, while Dar El Annabi is a historic house with wax figures in traditional costume.

Moroccan dates 🇲🇦😋

If there’s one thing I love doing when I travel to Morocco in the autumn it is getting fresh dates from Ziz Valley.

I always bring home a box or two!

My favourite way to prepare them for a delicious healthy snack is by simply filling them with pistachio nut butter that I get from here on the island where I live.

The flavours are amazing together 😍 and it’s just the perfect healthy pick me up during the day.

🎄HAPPY HOLIDAYS FRIENDS! 🎄

Spent a month — a MONTH ! — in Morocco. Working on my biggest project I’ve done yet.

Had some great adventures in the midst of all the waiting and logistics… Agadir…High Atlas Village…Merzouga…Casablanca.

Over 2000km of roaming a land I love. Another I call “home”.

I was also able to spend time with so many people around the country who have embraced me and called me family and friend. I’m so so grateful. My heart is full.

And now I’m home on my Greek island for Christmas… with friends and family.

Have a beautiful holiday season friends.

2025 is going to be a ride… in all the good ways! ✨ Yellah!

📷Throwback to a favourite trip to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam 🇻🇳

Ho Chi Minh City, or its old name “Saigon”, is a fabulous city to explore, especially if you love food Hassan 🇲🇦!

Sooooo many places to eat at and historical sites to visit, Ho Chi Minh City is a definite must if you’re making your way to Vietnam for any trip.

Besides walking and exploring so many things, one of my favourite things is to take a Vespa Food Tours at night with ! I’ve done their Food Tours twice and it has been amazing and I highly recommend it!

Not far from Ho Chi Minh City you can also take a bus to Mekong Delta, which is a whole experience of itself that I think everyone should do.

My favourite thing about that was the floating market. to see every boat as its own floating shop and people riding boats to get from one to the other at the break of Dawn… Very very cool.

another highlight… staying at - wow what an incredible experience to be able to stay so close to nature and have some of the most delicious food.

Now this makes me wanna go back to Vietnam…! Perhaps in 2026 a Philippines/Vietnam Travel Experience should be in the works… What do you think?

“We have been ‘planning’ a Morocco trip forever. Follow Your Heart Travel experiences had outlined a solid tour of Morocco hitting all the highlights we’d hoped for snd more. Tracey allowed us to customise our trip and was helpful in planning and timing. Her knowledge of resources made it easy to arrive and know the details were looked after. Tracey’s insights based on her experience was very helpful throughout our trip. When we looked back on what was the best; we found there were many things and in retrospect, everyday was ‘the best’.

So summing it all up, we’d do it all again. Tracey and her team of guides and driver made it an easy and enjoyable travel.“

I have always loved ceramics / pottery. I can’t help but buy a new piece any time I am in an artisans shop. I love it! And I have secretly dreamed of learning how to make ceramics. To throw clay. To create pieces. Every time I am in Fes with guests and we go to the pottery cooperative, they ask if anyone would like to try the wheel. I always have at least one guest who wants to. This time I wanted to…! So I did! (Thanks for the push @freychristel ! 🤍) And sure enough…I loved it. As you can see. (And yes I think I drooled lol!) 🤣 Where will this lead me? Time only knows. 😉 What is something you have wanted to try for so long but haven’t yet?
