At least a dozen big sea lions feeding on a very large herring bait ball. We were at West Bay on southern Gambier Island. They seem to be working as a team.

Prawning and crabbing have been good lately. There are 200 prawns in these traps. Salmon fishing has been off the charters with our boats hooking up over 20 Chinook salmon a trip.

Beautiful red sunrise this morning. Getting the boat ready on the dock in front office. I hope the fish, crabs,and prawns are hungry today.

These are herring that have come into the Granville Island marina to spawn. April and May are the two months that this usually happens. We were lucky enough to see them.
