Providence Sail Cargo This page is dedicated to the classic working vessel Providence built in Denmark in 1903, and to all who have voyaged on her past and present.

- Built: 1903, N. Nielsen & Son, Frederikshavn, DK
- Worked in the North Sea as Anchor seiner
- Commandeered by Germany in WWII
- Worked in Royal Danish Navy and Danish Maritime Home Guard
- Bought by Peter Thor Watson in 1978 and sailed to Victoria, BC.
- Major refit by Peter Watson in 1984
- Caribbean adventures with Peter and his family
- Converted to a fish packer by Peter and worked on BC coa

st for 17yrs.
- 2003 retired from packing on 100th birthday
- Currently home base is Britannia Shipyard National Historic Site, Steveston BC. Under the command of Simon Fawkes desperately seeking new adventures.
