Connecting Through Culture: A Film

Hello world! We are a group of filmmakers attempting to make a short film in Taiwan. The contest is based in Samantha Huang's hometown of Pingtung, Taiwan.

This summer a group of students decided to take a step out of their comfort zone and enter a video contest in a country halfway across the globe. She is the writer and director of this short being filmed and produced. Every year Pingtung hosts a local video contest with a new theme each year. This year it is voyage. The film will follow the crew in their day to day activity exploring the country of Taiwan.

“Connecting Through Culture” has been officially selected into another film festival - the Formosa Festival of International Filmmakers (FFIFA) in Taiwan!!!

The event will be held on December 9th, stay tuned for more information!!!!!

Hey guys! Quick update on our film.

"Connecting Through Culture" is finished and we've already submitted the film out to some film festivals! We are proud to say our film has become one of the official selections in the "Hollywood International Independent Documentary Awards". More to come soon and thank you for all of your support!
