10 February 2024 – Consul General Arlene T. Magno, together with Consul Analyn D. Ratonel and Economic Assistant Eleanor de la Cruz, attended the 10th anniversary celebration of Maligaya Travel Ltd. at its office on Kingsway, Vancouver, on 10 February 2024. The occasion was attended by friends, clients and business partners, as well as Mable Elmore, Filipino-Canadian Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) of British Columbia and the Parliamentary Secretary for Anti-Racism Initiatives to the Attorney General, who awarded Maligaya Travel with a certificate of recognition.

Owned by Filipino couple, Mr. Nelson and Mrs. Estrella Rodriguez, Maligaya Travel Ltd. Vancouver was officially opened on 03 February 2014 to cater to the travel needs of the Filipino community in British Columbia and the rest of Canada. Their main office is located in Edmonton, Alberta, where they have been in the travel business since 1991, the longest existing Filipino Travel agency in Alberta.

A perennial Philippine Airlines and Korean Airlines sales award recipient, Maligaya Travel has also been recognized by Cathay Pacific, Eva Air, China Airlines and Vacation.Com.
