Ryder Cup Recap 💭

We're still coming down from the high of our first group event in Scotland earlier this fall.

The Ryder Cup at Gullane saw 12 golfers from across North America and the UK come together on Scotland's East Coast for a week of great golf, good food, and fun competition. It's hard to capture the fun in a few photos, but we'll do our best!

Mark your calendars for September 2026 because we're going to the Walker Cup at Lahinch.

❓WHAT IS THE WALKER CUP?

Walker Cup is an amateur team event contested between Great Britain & Ireland vs. the United States. It features the top stars of tomorrow—past players include McIlroy, Spieth, Thomas, Fitzpatric, and Scheffler. It's like a Ryder Cup without the crowds... and in many cases the ropes.

🍀 A DREAM VENUE.

Lahinch is the darling of Irish links golf: a stone's throw from the Cliffs of Moher, along an idyllic stretch of white sand beach, with some of the quirkiest and most colourful holes on the planet.

📍 WHEN THEY ZIG, WE ZAG.

We'll start with 2 days of spectating at the Walker Cup. Since Lahinch is within striking distance of some of the most famous golf in Ireland (think: Ballybunion, Old Head, Waterville, Tralee), our guess is that the average golf fan will stick to the southwest.

But we’re not the average golf fans.

When the crowds zig (aka: fight over tee times in the southwest), we zag and skip town to head north. We’re going to tick off a mix of World Top 10s and lesser-known gems along the north coastline of Ireland and into Northern Ireland.

Many of these are courses that aren’t even on your bucket list yet—but they should be.

📢 We're launching a golf travel company!

Believe it or not, we didn't move to Scotland last year with any ulterior motives. It was always supposed to be a 6-month adventure. Nothing more, nothing less.

But we learned a lot over the course of a full golf season in St Andrews—including just how many golfers were on the same cookie-cutter trip, and missing out on some of the best Scottish golf as a result.

Our experience inspired us to start planning golf vacations ourselves, to share our love of links golf and some of the hidden gems we've found along the way. Our goal is to design the perfect trip for every group—not just another copied and pasted itinerary.
