The Magic Charm went out on its own adventure this past month. Every couple of years our vessels get a makeover with a lick of paint and some TLC. So early one morning, the Charm was off to the marina to get a tuck and a lift. The Charm will be back to Coal Harbour later this month to host more events!

Magic Yacht Charters - The Charm Gets a Lift!

Every few years, our fleet of Magic Yacht vessels get scheduled to have a makeover. After all, think about it - when we’re in the water for a while, we gain quite a few wrinkles. The Magic Charm is currently undergoing a bit of tender loving care and a nice, fresh lick of paint over the next few weeks. The Charm will be back to the waters of Vancouver Harbour in a month to welcome aboard our spring charters!

Did you ever wonder how they get boats out of the water for such a makeover? In effect, they use a big sling in the water to ease around the hull of the vessel and then use a crane to bring it out of the water. Then, voila! Our video here shows the Charm as it is then wheeled into its land-based berth for the maintenance teams to work their magic on our Magic Yacht!

Season’s Greetings!

We wish you a Merry Christmas, a Happy Hanukkah, and a wonderful holiday season! It looks like winter is going to be settling into our fair city soon enough to spark the holiday spirit with some crisp temperatures and snow on the horizon. So let’s make the most of it, shall we? Throw on your warm, comfy clothing and grab a mug or glass of something hot, and celebrate!

Our December cruise dates are mostly set in stone now and the New Year's Eve departures are all locked in to bring in 2023. But if you are thinking about hosting a staff Christmas party in the New Year to stretch out the season of cheer and take a little bit of the holiday stress away, Magic Yacht can be that unique and perfect venue to celebrate together! So we would like to take the opportunity to thank all of you who supported us through some difficult pandemic-related seasons and continue to do so! This past year was a breath of fresh air after we all coped in coming through the worst of the pandemic. We believe that 2023 will hold even greater times to come!

Even though we are far out from next summer, we wished to let you know that the long weekend cruise dates are already filling in and the Honda Celebration of Lights nights are already sold out. We are actively taking bookings for the springtime — so don't delay! We here at Magic Yacht Charters strive to be your most reliable charter cruise operator and we very much look forward to the pleasure of hosting your next special event.

A hearty seasonal greeting to all of you here in Vancouver! It’s hard to believe, but we are only a month out from Christmas and that means there are plenty of other holidays to celebrate in-between – Hannukah, Kwanzaa, and more! It also means that we are not that far away from seeing out 2022 and welcoming in 2023. The days may be shorter and the nights longer, but that gives us all the more reason to live it up with bright lights, colourful dress, and festive cheer.

We here at Magic Yacht Charters are super excited to host another busy holiday season. But that doesn’t mean we are completely booked up yet! We have a few dates and times left for anyone looking to book last minute for their special event. We even have a couple of spots left for the end-of-year period – you know – that funny week in-between Christmas and NYE when it should probably be just one long holiday!

We look forward to helping you host the perfect event. We can organize a sumptuous food menu, prepare the bar for whatever refreshments you require, decorate the boat to your requirements, and be ready to welcome you and your guests on board for a truly memorable cruise in one of the most beautiful harbours in the world.
