The Spark is UBC Sauder’s very own orientation program which welcomes all new students to the school.

The Spark is your welcome to the UBC Sauder community and a key part of the Sauder experience. This year we are planning to deliver a fun and safe in-person experience for students. Saturday, September 11 will be for all students new to campus entering Year 2 or higher (students admitted to Year 1, 2, or 3 in 2020 and students admitted to Year 2 or 3 in 2021), and Sunday, September 12 will be for

all new students entering Year 1 (students admitted to Year 1 in 2021). Programming will be hosted in small groups and safety measures will follow the Provincial Health Guidelines but you can still expect the classic cheering, dancing, and games Spark experience to help you make friends and feel part of the UBC Sauder community.
