Denali National Park.... one of the most surreal and vast expanses of wilderness in the entire world.
Six million acres of pristine wilderness, with just one gravel road running 92 km into the heart of the park.

Quite possibly more animals than humans in the park at any given moment. *
*Based on a wild hunch! ;)

It would take a lifetime to venture throughout the entire park, but over the course of a full day you can get a pretty good idea of what this place is about, with the help of the Park Bus and some proper planning.

Search for the big five mammals in the park:
- Bears
- Moose
- Caribou
- Wolves
- Dall Sheep

(Maybe see them all!)

You have one of the best places of seeing wildlife here in it's natural habitat!

It makes us sad to think that there are so many people out there that don't have the luxury of skiing with a pack of supportive friends each time they go out.

Of course, there is some beauty to skiing alone and we all do it from time to time, but spending an entire ski vacation alone isn't ideal, is it?

Or even worse, foregoing a ski vacation because no one is available to go with you.

Seward, Alaska. A place seldom visited, and often overlooked. But not one to be under-estimated!

Seward is one of the USA's most northerly ice-free ports, which makes it an important connection between marine and railway shipping.

It is also one of America's oldest communities. You wouldn't know it today, but Seward was once devasted by the "Good Friday Earthquake" in 1964.

Seward is named after William Henry Seward, who mastered the deal to acquire Alaska from Russia in 1867. One of the best real estate deals in history if you asked me!

Oh yes, you can visit Seward by driving from Anchorage, or by joining one of our newest and most exciting upcoming tours!

We are based in Canada and to be honest, we feel pretty spoiled for choice in epic landscapes. We have the Rockies, the west coast, the endless rivers in the north, the prairies, east coast, great lakes... you get it.

But when we see the incredible places in the USA, we're like..... "what the heck?!"

The US has some absolutely ridiculous places to explore and we can't help but notice!
Yosemite National Park.. yes please!
Grand Canyon.. why not?!
Bryce Canyon, sure!

All we can say is.. wow. And maybe that we are working on planning something special there, which you should be getting excited about!

Ever tried way too hard to see a bear on your adventures?!

Well, ever been to Alaska? I kid you not, there are places in Alaska where at the right time of year, you just rock up and if you don't see a grizzly bear eating salmon, I will smear peanut butter on myself and lay on a river bank all day long!

Fine print: *I will not actually do that, because it's dangerous and crazy.

Vancouver Island is home to some of the largest trees in North America!

Lake Louise is an iconic attraction in the Rockies, but the truth is, most people barely experience the real Lake Louise.

Lake Louise may be known as a glitzy photo stop these days, with throngs of people wielding selfie-sticks and clamoring to get into canoes, but beneath the surface lies a huge amount of wilderness waiting to be discovered.

Some of our hikes at Lake Louise are:
- Mount Fairview
- Plan of Six Glaciers
- Big Beehive and Devil's Thumb

It's so amazing to stand in such a large crowd at the side of the lake, and after hiking for five minutes, you can be completely on your own in absolute silence and tranquility.

Wilcox Pass is one of the hikes we feature on our Rockies hiking tours.

At roughly 10 kilometers in length with only 450 meters of elevation gain, you certainly feel like you've been transported into a new world!

Nothing beats staring down at Athabasca Glacier from the top of the ridge! The massive expanse of ice is surreal from the bird's eye view.

One of the coolest experiences in the Rockies is witnessing the bond between a mother bear and cub. The cubs are impossibly cute, running around, playing with things and keeping up with mom.
The moms, are more preoccupied with finding food to share and keeping an eye out for danger.

The flora of Vancouver Island is truly incredible. Words and photos can't do justice to describe the feeling of standing below a behemoth Spruce Tree that has towered over these lands for hundreds and hundreds of years.

There are trees growing from on top of some branches!
Even some branches are larger than many trees!
The Harris Creek Spruce is truly spectacular. Let's just say it'll make you feel small!
