Happy Earth Day!

Don't forget to take a moment to appreciate the Earth on the special day!

What a beautiful planet we live on! To think that any little variance in our planet would never have resulted in life as we know it.
A little closer to the sun, or further from it. A little less oxygen, less gravity, more asteroids, aliens.. you name it!

Glaciers are awesome! But are they worth traveling for?
Is there any irony that we travel to see glaciers, while the emissions from our travels further hastens the melting of the glaciers?
What would make traveling to see the glaciers that remain on Earth worth it?

Sharing awareness of glaciers and our appreciation for them can foster a sense of urgency to mitigate climate change.

While our children's children ever see glaciers?

Who knew there could be so many things to think about with these beautiful features of our wildest landscapes.

Where do angels hangout? Perhaps, at Angel's Landing in Zion National Park!

Zion is one of the most idyllic places a passionate hiker could possibly ever visit. Sheer sandstone walls plummet into a seemingly bottomless valley, with depths up to 3000 feet deep. An intricate maze of ledges are the network in which historic hiking trails weave a series of non-stop marvels.

We head to the Emerald Pool and then take the Canyon Rim Trail to Scout Lookout, where you are greeted with a massive valley lined with dramatic walls and the infamous Angel's Landing walk stretching out ahead of you. Next we walk the Riverside Trail to a cascading waterfall at Sinawava Temple and the beginning of the Zion Narrows.

Ever been to Tofino?!

Tofino is at the end of the road on Vancouver Island, perched in the most idyllic area of the rugged West Coast of the Island.

Visitors to Tofino enjoy world class whale watching, bear viewing opportunities along with a bevy of other options like surfing, hiking, paddling, fishing and more!

Best times to visit are the spring, summer and fall months, though the winter is absolutely worth a visit to see the storms roll in and the waves crashing on the shore.

Timing your visit with the humpback migration can be a good idea if you plan to head out whale watching.
September and later are best for bigger surf swell, while summer months bring dependable gentle swell that is perfect to learn on.

Antelope Canyon is one of the coolest places to photograph in the USA.
At the right time of day, the sun's ray come streaming through narrow cracks at the top of the canyon creating some incredible scenes to capture.

We explore Antelope Canyon with a local Navajo guide to help us connect with the land and understand the significance of this place.
In Navajo culture, the canyon serves as a reminder of the greater forcers in the universe, which help put our own forces into perspective. It reminds us that we are part of something far greater than ourselves!
