Our last day in Ireland was truly unforgettable.

We started with a visit to The Westbury, a luxury boutique hotel in Dublin with ties to Oscar Wilde, before heading out to explore South Dublin and County Wicklow, famously featured in Vikings, Wednesday and P.S. I Love You. Highlights included the serene monastic site of Glendalough and a high tea experience at the Powerscourt Hotel, nestled in Wicklow’s woodlands.

Back in Dublin, we toured the historic Shelbourne Hotel, where Ireland’s Declaration of Independence was signed in the legendary Constitution Suite, and enjoyed a farewell dinner fit for the occasion.

A special thank you to Failte Ireland for their incredible support in making this project a reality. Your efforts have not only inspired admiration for Ireland but also created lifelong ambassadors for this extraordinary destination. We are deeply grateful for your partnership.

Another incredible day of Irish adventures unfolded as our FAM group explored the rich culture and history of Dublin. The day began with a visit to the EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum and Trinity College’s Old Library, immersing themselves in Ireland’s emigration stories and marveling at the stunning Book of Kells. Next, a trip to St. Patrick’s Cathedral offered a step back into the 13th century, uncovering its deep connections to St. Patrick and Jonathan Swift. Lunch was a highlight at the Guinness Storehouse, where delicious bites were paired with a fun pint-pulling experience.

In the afternoon, the group checked into three of Dublin’s finest hotels: The Shelbourne, Autograph Collection, The Westbury Hotel Dublin and Conrad Dublin. After some free time to explore the city, the evening concluded with a welcome drink and an inspection of the Conrad Hotel showcasing its perfect blend of modern luxury and historic charm.

Another incredible day in Ireland began with a visit to Kilbeggan Distillery, one of the world’s oldest licensed distilleries, dating back to 1757. A tour and tasting brought centuries of Irish whiskey-making to life.

The group then enjoyed a storytelling experience at An Gobha, the Blacksmith of the Boyne Valley, immersing themselves in Ireland’s rich traditions.

Lunch followed at Sheridans Cheesemongers, where Mr. Sheridan shared fascinating insights into Irish food production, paired with a delicious meal.

In the afternoon, the group checked in at The K Club, a renowned destination celebrated for its golf, spa and luxurious charm. The evening began in the wine cellar with French wine tastings (Bordeaux and local cheese) and concluded with a wonderful dinner at the hotel.

Today, the group visited Killary Sheep Farm where they were treated to breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and fjord. We also learned about the fascinating communication techniques used by the farmer to guide his highly trained sheepdogs.

Our next stop was Kylemore Abbey, a stunning neo-Gothic estate with a deep and romantic history. Built in the 19th century by Mitchell Henry as a gesture of love for his wife, the estate later became a Benedictine monastery. Today, it preserves its rich history and offers visitors the chance to explore its beautifully restored gardens and chapel.

Lunch took place at the legendary Ashford Castle in Ireland, a 13th-century castle transformed into a luxurious five-star hotel. The group toured the property and attended a presentation by Failte Ireland learning about country’s unique travel products.

We then continued to Sean's Bar - Ireland's Oldest Pub, recognized as the world’s oldest pub, dating back to 900ad. Here, we enjoyed a pint while learning about the pub’s fascinating history including its ancient walls and ties to early Irish kings.

Finally, we checked into the stylish Glasson Lakehouse, where we enjoyed a deliciuos dinner overlooking the lake.

Today, our FAM group’s journey along Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way was nothing short of spectacular!

Cliffs of Moher: we started with breathtaking views from this iconic Irish landmark where the Atlantic waves crash against towering cliffs. A picture-perfect moment at every angle!

Burren Smokehouse : next, we met the passionate owners behind this award-winning gem. Their organic smoked salmon lived up to its reputation, paired perfectly with a pint of local beer brewed from an ancient druidic recipe.

Kelly Oysters : a fascinating visit with the owner, learning about sustainable oyster farming and, of course, savoring the freshest oysters straight from the source.

Moran's Oyster Cottage : we enjoyed a delicious lunch at this legendary seafood spot, where the Moran family has been perfecting their craft for over 250 years!

Galway: we strolled through this picturesque town taking time to shop for traditional wool wear at local stores.

Glenlo Abbey Hotel & Estate : the day ended at the luxurious Glenlo Abbey Hotel & Estate, where we relaxed and reflected on another unforgettable experience in Ireland.

After departing from the luxurious Sheen Falls Lodge, the group continued their journey along the Ring of Kerry, making picturesque photo stops along the way. They then arrived at the charming Adare Village, renowned for its thatched cottages, historic Desmond Castle and the grandeur of Adare Manor Hotel, which hosted a delicious lunch at the Blue Door Restaurant.

Following a scenic drive, the group reached Bunratty Castle, where they explored the medieval fortress and experienced life in a 19th-century Irish village. Later, they traveled to The Monks in Ballyvaughan for an overnight stay, accompanied by a seafood dinner and stunning views of the Wild Atlantic Way. The day concluded at O’Loclainn’s Bar, where they enjoyed whiskey tastings, met the welcoming owner and soaked in the traditional Irish pub atmosphere. Delta Air Lines

CG Journeys together with Tourism Ireland, Delta Airlines and Absolute Ireland Travel has launched an exclusive FAM trip to Ireland for Canadian travel professionals. The journey began in Cashel with a stay at the beautiful Cashel Palace conveniently located within walking distance of the iconic Rock of Cashel.

The following day the group traveled to Cork City for a guided tour which included a visit to the famous English Market. The stunning Hayfield Manor hosted the agents for a property tour and a delicious lunch.
