CG Journeys together with Visit Madeira just wrapped up an unforgettable FAM trip to Madeira! From the stunning views at Quinta do Lorde to the thrill of a Jeep tour on the famous Poncha hunt, this island truly has it all. The agents explored the coastline from a catamaran and ventured into the lush landscapes of Eira do Serrado before experiencing the Monte cable car and traditional sledge ride.

The journey took us through amazing spots like Porto Moniz and some iconic hotels that offered such a warm welcome. Staying at places like the Meliã Madeira and Savoy Palace was incredible, with each visit showing us a new side of the island’s hospitality. Today our group started off by exploring Santana and Quinta do Furão, checking out the traditional houses and gorgeous landscapes. After that, the agents checked in at the Meliã Madeira Hotel. In the evening, they headed to The Views Baía for dinner and enjoyed some great food with an amazing view to top off the day! Visit Madeira

CG Journey, in partnership with the Visit Madeira , has launched a FAM tour to Madeira for Canadian and American travel agents. Today, the group explored Funchal, the island’s capital. Their city tour included a visit to the lively Mercado dos Lavradores, where they admired displays of fresh produce, flowers and local handicrafts. They also strolled through historic streets, enjoyed the city’s architecture and learned about Funchal’s rich cultural heritage. The highlight of the day, and everyone’s favourite, was the wicker toboggan ride!

Our FAM tour to Cambodia has come to an end. To celebrate a successful journey, our group was invited to a gala dinner at the Raffles Hotel Phnom Penh, where the agents had the opportunity to share their experiences with representatives from the Cambodia Ministry of Tourism and the Moya Cambodia team. It was a memorable evening, marked by valuable insights, new connections and exceptional cuisine.

Our FAM group continued to Siem Reap to uncover more of this beautiful country. We explored Tonle Sap Lake, where we saw floating villages and learned how locals adapt to life on the water, and visited a lotus farm.

The highlight of the trip was witnessing the sunrise at Angkor Wat, the largest religious monument in the world. We also took a cooking class to learn traditional Cambodian cuisine, enjoyed a relaxing massage and even experienced meditation with a real monk.

CG Journeys, in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism of Cambodia and Moya Cambodia, organized an incredible FAM tour across the Kingdom of Cambodia for travel agents from Canada and the USA. The adventure kicked off in the capital, Phnom Penh, where the group explored the Royal Palace, took a city tour that included historic landmarks like Wat Phnom and the Independence Monument, browsed the Central Market and enjoyed a night cruise on the Mekong River sipping on local cocktails.

The group stayed at the Park Hyatt and Rosewood Phnom Penh hotels. The Park Hyatt offered a blend of colonial charm and contemporary style, with lush gardens, a serene pool area and refined dining experiences. Meanwhile, the Rosewood, set in a sleek modern tower, provided stunning views of the city, chic interiors and exceptional amenities, capturing the essence of Cambodian hospitality.

Our FAM trip to Turkey wrapped up in Kusadasi, a charming city on the Western coast. The agents got acquainted with top hotels, experienced a traditional hamam and indulged in delicious local cuisine. Some even took a dip in the sea! After an exciting stay in Istanbul, our FAM group headed south to the beautiful town of Bodrum, where the agents had the chance to explore some of the most stunning properties along the Turkish Riviera. From luxurious beachfront resorts to charming boutique hotels, each location offered a perfect blend of comfort, elegance and breathtaking views.

The group also got to indulge in the amazing local cuisine – fresh seafood, traditional Turkish dishes and rich flavors that truly capture the spirit of the region. This weekend, our FAM group went on a full-day tour of Istanbul, visiting St. Sophia, the Blue Mosque, the Hippodrome and the Grand Bazaar. After lunch at the Orient Occident Hotel, the group enjoyed a Bosphorus Dinner Cruise with a live show. The next day, agents explored the Spice Market, had lunch at the Palace Kempinski Hotel and ended the day with dinner at Galataport alongside TGA and Turkish Airlines representatives.

Today, CG Journeys along with Turkish Airlines kicked off its exciting new FAM trip to Turkey, starting in Istanbul. Agents gathered at the stunning Divan Hotel, enjoying a fantastic dinner and the beginning of a memorable adventure.

Our FAM trip reached its highest point in sunny, medieval Tallinn! When we arrived at the hotel, we were greeted by our charming host, Old Thomas. Instead of a typical tour, we were treated to a theatrical performance that brought Tallinn’s history to life. We explored all the iconic spots and enjoyed the best views, both on foot and by bus, really getting a feel for the famous Tallinn Old Town.

The Old Town is one of Europe’s best-preserved medieval centers, with its winding streets, Gothic churches and centuries-old merchant houses. No wonder it’s a UNESCO World Heritage site!

We also visited the Estonian Maritime Museum, home to Tallinn’s unique seaplane hangars, the historic Lembit submarine, and an amazing collection of boats, yachts and naval artillery. It opened in 2012 and has become one of Northern Europe’s top maritime museums.

The perfect way to end our 10-day FAM trip? A fantastic dinner with our lovely hosts from Visit Tallinn and Visit Estonia at Controvento, the oldest Italian restaurant in Tallinn. Located in the heart of the medieval Latin Quarter, right next to the artisan workshops in St. Catherine’s Passage, the food was absolutely delicious, and the vibe was full of positivity and warmth.

We spent the evening exchanging highlights of our trip to Finland and Estonia. All travel agents agreed that this unique destination is one you’ve got to experience for yourself! Huge thanks to all our amazing partners who made this FAM trip so valuable and fun. We can’t wait to come back with more tourists from the USA and Canada - and definitely with new FAMs!

Today, our FAM group arrived in Southern Estonia, in the beautiful city of Tartu, the European Capital of Culture 2024! We explored this ancient and elegant university town with a wonderful guide from Visit Estonia. Our tour included a visit to the Estonian National Museum, a place of deep cultural significance for the entire country. We also experienced the Barge Chamber theme park and enjoyed a sunny trip along the Emajõgi River aboard the historic barge 'Jõmmu.'

The day ended with an exceptional dinner at Pierre, one of the finest Michelin-recommended restaurants, where we savored excellent local cuisine. We're staying at the cozy Lidya Hotel, with super comfortable rooms and relaxing spa facilities. Excited to continue our Estonian adventure!

Today, our FAM group embarked on a Baltic cruise aboard the Tallink Silja ferry, traveling from Helsinki to Tallinn. The ship and overall cruise experience exceeded all our expectations! After a presentation and a tour of the ship, the captain invited us to visit his workplace. We had the honor of seeing the heart of the ship and learning more about the captain’s important role and expertise.

Tallink Silja operates the most modern fleet in the Baltic Sea, offering a variety of short cruises, including routes from Stockholm to Helsinki, Stockholm to Turku, Helsinki to Tallinn and Stockholm to Tallinn. The high-speed Tallink Shuttles run between Helsinki and Tallinn up to six times a day! They also offer connections to Aland Island from Stockholm, Helsinki, Turku and Tallinn.

Just one day aboard a Tallink Silja Line ship is enough to make you forget the stresses and routines of everyday life.

Today, our FAM group left the welcoming Lapland Visit Rovaniemi - the Official Hometown of Santa Claus and arrived at the new and luxurious Hotel Maria Helsinki.
