The Aberdeen Columns are 45 minutes outside of Vernon but look like they are from another world!

If you’re not into hiking or climbing, you’ve probably never heard of them. Only a 1 km round trip, this wall of rock is made from basalt - volcanic rock that is formed from the rapid cooling of lava. 🌋

If you’re not traveling with a SUP or kayak in tow, we highly recommend to our guests. Ed’s Mobile Kayak Rental will meet you at one of our many lakes in the area and drop off a kayak or stand-up paddle board so you can go find where on Kalamalka Lake this picture was taken.
