Hey everyone, we need to have a heart-to-heart. 💔

Every day, we receive heartbreaking calls and emails from owners needing to surrender their beloved animals for one reason or another. Our waiting list keeps growing, and it's overwhelming and we're not even sure if we will ever get to the bottom of it! As much as we wish we could save them all, the reality is tough. Saying no breaks our hearts every time.

Ron and I pour our hearts and souls into this mission, juggling full-time jobs to provide the best life for our residents. But the operational expenses add up fast, especially with extra vet visits and extra care for most of our residents. Some days we feel we're stretched thin, but your support keeps us going ❤️

So, let's rally together for a $5 Feed Me Friday! Your contributions will help cover hay costs and keep our residents happy and healthy ❤️ and if you can't contribute, no worries! Share our post and mission with your friends and family!

Uprooted Kitchen & Catering Co. has flourished under the name of Basket Case Picnics & Catering since July of 2011. Our new name, Uprooted Kitchen & Catering Co., speaks to both our inspiration and ethos, and recognizes that its time to uproot our image to more accurately reflect what we have become.
