Did you know... we have all kinds of family-friendly bike rentals. We have chariots for ages 1-5. Tagalong attachments for ages 6-10 and even a tandem bike for people who may have challenges balancing a full size E bike.

Wildfire Update! The Galloping Goose Trail is open and ready to explore all the way up to the mile marker at km 46. The trail has been closed for public safety just south of the Sooke Potholes Park, which is also closed.

The Bike Shuttle is open and using an alternative drop-off point on Sooke River Road. We have been lucky here in Sooke. The fire continues to spread north (away from the town). Consistent wind coming from the West has kept our skies smoke free.

We have a huge amount of gratitude for the crews fighting the fires. Our thoughts are with those across Canada who have been impacted by the devastating wildfires.

Please explore responsibly and respect the trail closures.

Did you know we offer FREE programs for anyone to try our activities? That's right! Drop-in at our Have A Go Day this Sunday (Feb 25th) for and outdoor fun from 10am-3pm at our Prospect Lake site. Try canoeing, hiking (with TrailRider option), lawngames, crafts, biking with Electric Alpine Biking and learning with Victoria Tool Library 🐦!

🌟WHAT: Come experience the outdoors with Power To Be! We offer a variety of activities, including hiking with and without TrailRiders (one-wheeled, all-terrain wheelchairs), paddlesports, nature adventures, and more. We also periodically have community partners on site who offer additional activities!

🌟WHO: Anyone who wants to access nature in a safe, fun, and inclusive way. This open event invites all current Power To Be participants and their families, as well as anyone interested in learning more about Power To Be. This is an excellent opportunity to try something new in nature and to meet Power To Be staff, volunteers, and participants.

🌟WHERE: Our beautiful Prospect Lake site is located at 4633 Prospect Lake Rd.

🌟DETAILS: No RSVPs are required to attend. We ask that anyone under the age of 19 be accompanied by adult support. Activities are available for sign-up upon your arrival and run on a rotating basis. We will run the activities rain or shine, so dress appropriately for the weather.
