Grays feed in the shallow waters by the west coast of Vancouver Island all summer. Though I had never seen them so consistently, I have had the luck and pleasure of seeing them every tour I've hosted in the last 2 months.
Soon, they will be heading south for the colder months, but for now, we might still have a few more with them 🥰

Just casually adding Mystic Beach to our roaster ⛱️
Some days we have extra time and we can visit the wildlife recovery center @north_island_wildlife_recovery and see Rae the Black Bear, Blizzard the White Raven and all the other residents of this amazing recovery center.
I LOVE it when we see whales on tour! This is the best time of the year to see them from shire as they feed in shallow rich waters around Vancouver Island.
