It was a phenomenal couple of days celebrating the big 50. We went from Dom to Kirkland pretty quickly. Shenanigans and fun was had. So far 50 not so bad :) :)

We are back from an incredible luxury trip with Melia Hotels International and several luxury travel professionals to Sitges and Barcelona. What an incredible experience from the people, the architecture, the food, the beautiful sights, scenery and weather. If you have not been to these destinations in Spain I highly recommend. Sometimes we are lucky enough to experience some pretty epic adventures in our line of work. We just returned from a 12 night trip to South Africa and Zimbabwe with G Adventures and TTAND. It was a fantastic and enlightening trip. Such a diverse culture and the opportunity to see the wildlife in their natural environments was beyond incredible. This is just a peek of what an incredible trip it was. We are looking forward to our next adventure. Stay tuned.

In the centre of the valley, we found the Caldeiras das Furnas! There are two active volcanic sites to see the boiling caldeiras in action, multiple boiling water and mud springs as well as mini-geysers. They are strewn all over the town.
