Wow, just wow! I got back from being on the Cascadia, crusing through Desolation Sound, this past Sunday. I would highly recommend Maple Leaf Adventures . Their crew, food, itinerary and the side trips to shore were all exceptional! If you are curious about them, please reach out to me for more information. They have some fabulous Itineraries that are fairly close to home (Vancouver Island). Places such as the rugged north coast and west side of Vancouver island, the Great Bear Rainforest, Haida Gwaii and the Gulf Islands. As well as up into Alaska onboard their Tugboat, Swell.

Today I get to board the MV Cascadia with Maple Leaf Adventures for a 4 night/5 day trip through Desolation Sound. So looking forward to it!

Today I got to go see the 3 different ships that Maple Leaf Adventures have for their unique West Coast and Alaska Itineraries. Maple Leaf - their sailboat, Swell - their Tugboat and Cascadia - their Catarmaran.

The Croatia tour I was supposed to host this May is unfortunately a no go. However, I am working on a hiking group to Croatia for May 2025. It looks like it will be 1 week of hiking and 1 week of staying put in probably Dubrovnik. If interested, let me know and I'll keep you posted!

Good news!
Update on Barbados mixed vaccine policy: The Governement of Barbadoes has changed their policy and will now accept people with mixed vaccines as fully vaccinated.

Have you been vaccinated with two different types of vaccines for Covid? Barbados is the 1st country (and others could follow) to say these people are not fully vaccinated and will require a 5 day mandatory quarantine.
