Sound on! Climbing Shanty #1 by @deantennantdh.
Climbing can be hard, but it's easier when you've got a free riding trail Bard leading you through a jaunty climbing shanty.
Can't wait for #2 to drop later this month, stay tuned!

Rider: Archer | Age: 7 | Bike: Spawn Yama Jama
Archer has been riding with NR since spring 2020 in a number of programs: private lessons; youth club; and summer camps.
Archer has abundant intrinsic motivation. He lives to ride his bike, and is singularly determined to improve and grow as a rider. It's incredible to watch this unfold.
Thanks for being You Archer. I am so stoked to see where your wheels take you in life. I know you're going to cover epic amounts of ground!
Doing as @deantennantdh does is not easy, @dannymmillam demonstrates this fact.
Haha, Danny of course dusted himself off and got the corner nicely on his next lap!
So good out there with the crews today!
Happy Halloween 👻

Today was rad! The NR crew was out in force! Both a boys team and the girls team out riding the Tzou. Happy Saturday everyone, hope you're out there getting after and amongst it!
This was group #2 of 3 from today's team rides at Tzouhalem. All 3 groups were practicing cornering during their 3 hour rides.
One of my favorite approaches when working with skilled and aware riders is to get them to collectively name and describe as many components to a skill as they can before we even start the coaching.
These guys were able to come up with most of what we'd be practicing, and I just filled in the minor gaps. Cornering is such a deep skill, and it's always a quest for that most excellent feeling of having the body and bike working together in unison to accelerate out of the berm.
Here's them practicing a long berm with a fairly large radius. This extra time in the corner gives them the chance to really feel how they and their bike are coming through the corner.
@deantennantdh and Graham were also out there with the other two groups from the team, helping their riders get the most out of their cornering!
Archer is 7. His mom describes him as a kid who rides his bike all day, every day. He knows all the jumps and jibs in his neighborhood.
When I met him for our first lesson he flexed on me with a wheelie in the parking lot. I knew immediately that this was going to be a rad lesson series.
He tried to clean every hill on the way to Torpedo, he's already into earning his turns. I'm humbled to meet these kids with lazer focus, and stoked I can play a small part in their journey. I can't wait to see where young Archer goes with his riding.
Grayson staying calm and smooth on the Butcher's Block. Grayson was part of our camp last week at the Tzou. He showed up everyday ready to ride, with stoke to share and seemingly unlimited energy!
I just want to give him a shout out right now as he's at home recovering from a broken collarbone. On the last day of camp he had an unlucky washout in a loose corner and went down. He handled the pain and frustration of crashing like a boss, and kept his chin up the whole time. Healing vibes to you Grayson, you'll be back out there in no time!
Spring Break Camp Mt Tzouhalem
Hey everyone I know we are all adapting as best we can as the COVID-19 situation unfolds. With that said, I wanted to let you know that we are still going ahead with our first week of spring break camp running at Mt Tzouhalem this coming week (Mar 16-20). If your family's plans for next week have changed and you are looking for care and coaching for your young riders, we have a few spots left.
Details can be found here: https://nolanriding.com/spring-break-camps/
