Dagmar Travel Designer

Dagmar Travel Designer Travel Designer for Vision Travel, A Virtuoso Agency Dagmar spent many summers in a little town just outside Salzburg - still her favourite European city.
(2)

Dagmar was bitten by the travel bug at a very young age, when her Austrian parents introduced her to the big-city sights and simple country pleasures of Europe. An early cruiser, she might not recommend her first lines – freighters carrying steel and grain, rather than well-appointed dining rooms and swimming pools. (Hey – it brought hours of intrigue and excitement to a 7 year old!) Thankfully,

her more recent experiences have been much more luxurious. To this day, Dagmar still can’t get enough of being out on the open seas on a cruise ship! An avid diver and skier, Dagmar loves to explore the many beautiful dive destinations of the Caribbean, as well as the snowy slopes of the Rockies and the Alps.

Dublin's vibrantly coloured Georgian Doors are a city landmark.

Did you know that it's said two eccentric neighbours started the trend?
One painted his door green so that the other wouldn't mistakenly come knocking on it late at night after the pub.
The other then retaliated by painting his door a bright red. bit.ly/1oYMAmE

This is a horrendous situation and my heart goes out to this family. I can't imagine what they are going through. I cannot lay blame on the cruise line however. This is why I offer all of my clients travel insurance.

Nicolas Colucci was diagnosed with cancer and had to undergo emergency surgery just weeks before the family was set to go on a June 1 cruise.

Exactly one year from today, on 4 July 2015, CUNARD will be creating a piece of living history as Queen Mary 2 sails from Liverpool to Halifax and Boston, just as Cunard’s first ever ship, the little paddle-steamer Britannia, did 175 years ago.

While we were in Nassau we got a day pass to the Sandals Royal Bahamiam. This time, although it was just as windy and overcast, we were able to take the ferrry over to their island. Well worth the trip it is a great little spot. There was a restaurant on the private island but we headed back to the main property for lunch. They changed the little outdoor restaurant there and now they only serve burgers and nachos. I think it was a good change though because the burgers were very good.I remember when I was there the first time we ate at the same place and none of us were overly impressed with our meals.

So I just got back from The Carnival Splendor where we went to Grand Turk, Half Moon Cay and Nassau. Now I will say the service was good and the food was good but the ship just made me dizzy! It is nicknamed "the pink ship" for a reason! Now a pink ship while bad enough, just isn't the end. The grey, black, lime green and copper accents just put it over the top for me. Now this is just my opinion and I know that there are many people that love the whimsicalness of it but this girl likes something a little more soothing :) I am going to start the pictures off with the ports of call and then end with the ship. Enjoy and let me know if you like the whimsical or like me prefer something calmer?
