VulCON31 begins in 4 days. In addition to our Silent Auction of sitting with the celebrity guests, this year we have a real treat to celebrate the culture of Vulcan County- a live auction with a genuine auctioneer! McInenly Auctions has graciously agreed to conduct a live auction of your favorite Star Trek items!!! Do some homework on how a live auction works and come prepared to bid on the amazing items that will be offered. Notably we have a silver label bottle of Chateau Picard, a box of Whatnooowaaay merch, a kids basket and a grave plot in the Vulcan Cemetery, to name a few.

Register soon for the VulCON FREE shuttle from our partner and the close by Ramada by Wyndham High River to Vulcan and back July 27th only. We need a certain number of riders to run the shuttle. If you intend to ride then please sign up and let us know.

Our Story

Our unique Vulcan Tourism & Trek Station, which is open to the public seven days a week, has been cleverly and brilliantly designed to look like a landing spacecraft. As you enter the building the stars and nebula of the Trek Station’s floor-to-ceiling space murals will make you feel as though you have been transported into outer space.

Our one-of-a-kind visitor information centre is home to a large collection of Star Trek Memorabilia, the Galaxy Souvenir Gift Shop, and tourist information mainly centered around Alberta and all the amazing attractions in our province. As Trek Station employees, our goal is to help you make the best of your day trips, extended road trips, and summer holidays!

Please feel free to come in and ask us about the many attractions in all of Alberta and we’ll help make sure your summer is an amazing one filled with adventure and joy! Or, for our fellow Trekkies, come in and ask us about our association and deep-rooted love for Star Trek’s character, Mr. Spock (we’ll answer questions about the rest of the crew members, too).

Hours of operation = 9am - 8pm, Seven days a week.
