What does "spring rate" mean to you?

To mountain bikers, it means everything. Spring rate is how much force it takes to compress your suspension. Higher rate = stiffer suspension, and on air shocks you adjust spring rate by increasing/decreasing PSI.

Since the wrong spring rate ruins your ride, don't leave it up to chance! Use a digital shock pump to nail your pressures before every ride.
