Events such as marriage, the birth of a child and the passing of a loved one are the things that help define who were are. I have the privilege and honour of being a part of these occasions in the lives of those we serve. I enjoy meeting people and hearing their stories and helping bring something unique and meaningful to these life events. I’ve been married to my partner Garry for over forty year
s. We met as teenagers and together we raised our two children. Geoffrey and Krista and their families continue to be at the centre of our lives. We are proud and doting grandparents to Annaleigh, Jacob and George. Garry and I supported each other as we went back to school and trained to become elementary school educators. Being a teacher and principal was more than a job. It was a career that spanned over 20 years. When I retired from education, I knew that I wanted to do something where I could be a positive influence and continue learning new things and meeting interesting people. I enjoy public speaking and communicating with people. Joining Celebrating Life Ministries and Cathy Davis and Company as an Officiant allows me to use this skill set. For me it is the best of both worlds. Time in the working world doing the things I love, with leisure time to enjoy golf, skiing, travel, cooking , concerts and theatre. I look forward to celebrating life’s milestones with you.
