Also, biscoff cheesecake, chocolate cream pie, chocolate cake w peanut butter frosting and coconut cream pie are on the menu tonight 🙂 these don’t last long…

Last call for Vendors for the first High Tide Market on August 31st. 10am to 2pm! At this time we have- Joy Designs, Beachcombing PEI, Backroad Woodworks, Scentsy, Twisted Tides, Salisha's Sea Gems and Noveltyish. We have room but would love to add a food item or two and possibly a few more island businesses. Let us know soon so we can add you to the list.

“Go to Happy Hour with FDR!

I want to review a new addition to the Roosevelt Campobello International Park: Happy Hour with FDR. I give this five stars! It is held in the Prince Cafe behind the main red cottage. Of course, the view is stunning. The Happy Hour was just plain fun as well as educational. FDR was a martini drinker and the "author" of the dirty martini so this is what was served. When you walked into the cafe, all the tables were set with martini glasses and individual charcuterie boards (other drinks are available if you don't like martinis). A local young man, Landon, played the piano giving a jovial atmosphere. FDR's campaign song, Happy Days are Here Again was an uplifting hit with most of us singing along. Two different knowledgeable docents discussed FDR history. I highly recommend! (If you ride bikes there are lots of good gravel roads/trails.)”

As we are down to one large vendor and one very small vendor... and there is a chance of rain, the market can be fit inside the Gift House today. Photos to come! The Beacon of Hope will be set up with pies and baked goods from 10am to 2pm (or until supplies last). Come one, Come all.
