With Fathers Day quickly approaching, I wanted to share a few fun ideas to help make your day with the old man a fun and memorable one.
1. Plan and host a BBQ and let dad take a break with his favorite beverage in hand while you coordinate the rest.
2. Treat pops to a date out, brunch, dinner whatever he prefers at his favorite style of restaurant, remember it's only one day.
3. Take him fishing to a local watering hole with fish lol, bring the gear, the bait, and a few snacks/beverages to last a few hours while you get some good old fashioned quality time in. Even if your fish is bigger, pops wins!
4. Sports, if your dad is into a sport why not join him for a day of activity even if he can show you up.

BC Craft Ciders? Absolutely!
This beautiful section of land located in Kelowna's South East was originally cleared by a team of horses, how cool is that. It's now home to an Alpaca Farm and Soma Craft Cidery. Soma is dedicated to crafting dry, clean, traditional ciders that offer a refreshing taste with subtle toasty vanilla undertones.
PS. you can feed the Alpacas 🦙 but watch out, they are a funky bunch!

Penticton is calling! Did you know there are over 40 amazing wineries spread out between Penticton & the Naramata Bench? With so many options we are certain there is something amazing waiting for you to discover.
These amazing friends stopped in to sip the fine wines at Little Engine Winery. Here, they are known for producing high quality Merlot, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon and my personal favorite their Chardonnay! They offer a lovely seated tasting with the option to include a Charcuterie plate.

The world is indeed your oyster, even if at times it doesn't feel or look so pearly. Nurturing our mental, emotional, and physical well-being is essential to our outlook on life and the way we feel each and every day.
It's no secret that I love wine 😍🍷, yet I also cherish a healthy, balanced lifestyle. This might occasionally include indulging in a chocolate-covered croissant or a wood-oven-fired pizza. To me that is part of creating balance but I also prioritize my overall health by incorporating nutritious foods, exercising consistently, and taking a daily stroll with my fur baby Bear. You probably didn't notice him, but he's trailing beside me along the beach. To stay positive and energized, I make sure my cup is filled with engaging and meaningful conversations, frequent laughter, and as much time outdoors embracing the sun and breathing in fresh air as possible. Ultimately, we are all navigating a path of self-discovery and personal growth, and every single one of us is significant.

Fun Fact: A new multi-use pathway has been added along Boucherie to Ogden Road. I took the family on a morning walk to test out the new safe route that provides access to several Westside Wineries such as Frind, Quails Gate, and The Hatch. This is an easy to moderate walk taking about an hour. You can access additional wineries if you keep on trucking!

Does anyone else feel like April flew by? That's okay because May is always an exciting time to be in the Valley. It's an early start to our beautiful Okanagan summers with temperature's hovering in the mid 20's. All the flowers, trees and buds are popping and life is looking good!
